This gun can generate heat at 330 degrees or 600 degrees which means you can set the Temperature based on the job you're doing. It removes paint and varnish from a wide variety of surfaces and has two heat settings of 330c and 510c to apply the right heat for the job.
This lightweight (800g) heat gun is simple and effective to use making it ideal for first time users. Featuring two temperature settings for a variety of tasks, the low heat setting is ideal for welding and bending plastic, as well as heat shrinking whilst the high setting is ideal for paint stripping, defrosting pipes, removing vinyl floor tiles, soldering and even lighting barbecues. While that also applies to industrial use, more powerful heat guns can also be used by tradespeople to help loosen bolts and screws, bend plastics and metals, melt adhesives, shrink-wrapping (or applying vinyl), drying, and sterilising. This does not affect the efficiency of the product, just slightly annoying as the case would have been a handy.
In the second position the temperature can be set from 50 to 650 degrees Celsius in 10 degree steps, all works perfectly! The DIY Heat Gun comes with two nozzle attachments, one wide mouth nozzle for general use and a cone nozzle for concentrating heat. Similar to a hair dryer, but significantly hotter, a heat gun works by blowing air over a red-hot heated filament, so the air that is blasted out is extremely hot too.
