About this deal

This scent actually reminded me a little of the way I remember Old Spice smelling as a kid...manly, forceful and warm. They don't exactly smell the same, but they evoke the same kind of reaction in me. Sure, it's not a room-filling scent and its longevity isn't astonishing but seriously, sometimes one doesn't want a scent that people can smell from a distance of 30 paces. Manage those expectations, especially when it costs next to nothing. Want to experience it from the top again? You will. Spray it on with abandon.....you're still not likely to stink up an elevator while wearing it. opening is very like Tdh, but becomes a much more gingery soapier scent after half an hour. Expect to be disappointed if you think are buying a Tdh alternative because its not in terms for quality and longevity. a very nice jazzy scent bitter citruss on top that smells semi sweet, alot of white musc here. the leather is light but can easily smell it not as intense as diors farenhight. has a late 80's and early ninties vibe but a little modernised with the top notes of the scent after the first 30 mins i beguin to think, no actually i beguin to know i have smelt the exact same scent elsewhere. anyway i'll judge the scent based on whats in the bottle. for me its a good smelling scent quality is just below average imo. although does not smell cheap in any way. I believe I was the first to say (over on BN) that it shares some similarities to Bulgari Man and Chopard's Noble Vetiver, and I still maintain that it does - all three of these scents have a fair bit of overlap in their vetiver/wood/cashmeran accord, but yet each IS unique. Unique enough to warrant owning more than one of them? Possibly.

This is a very manly smell. Very modern and classy. If you have lasting power issues you might enjoy the deospray version. It also smells really good, lasts all day and has a good protection. I was so sceptical before I tried this on on me (I had once smelled this on paper before) and I must say it really surprised me. There is something interesting here. Liquorice, leather, ginger, wood and some herbs. Yes it is a bit synthetic, but what the hell...I was a bit harsh of this frag in my earlier review. After a month or so i decided to try it again. I Have changed my opinion on this. I get a spicey/floral/soapy kind of smell from this. I still wouldnt say its one of the best frags i have smelled, but for a casual frag, it would be ok i guess. I recently received a sample of this, and I decided to try it out on my wrist and was actually very impressed. From these experiences, I did notice that for some reason I sprayed more directly with my night time spray than I did with my day time spray. So this maybe a fragrance you need to watch that with. I have tried copying this but it never really worked honestly.

It's quite linear, but when you break down the simple Scent that it is there's a lot going on that makes it smell the way it does This smells really nice for what little it costs, and is worth the tiny effort it takes to spray into an atomizer.Donald, this will last a night out no problem, just spray into an atomizer and re apply every few hours, it's cheap enough to use liberally. Projection/Sillage: DECENT, not bold and loud but not quite either (the syntheticness of this frag actually allows it to get noticed), good 'scent bubble' for about 1-2 hours then turn to a more in-close scent the more it dries.

Longevity is shit and becomes skin scent within two hours tops, but at this price point, you can afford to reapply throughout the day and not feel the sting. Top notes of this excellent composition offer citrusy zest skillfully mixed with ginger and Szechuan pepper. A heart introduces cashmere, leather and rosemary, while a base leaves a trail of mahogany, patchouli and musk. The perfume was created by Pierre Negrin of Firmenich. Really nice blended scent. It goes with my daily life style too.People aeeound me keep asking that which scent it is?But I keep quite. Don't let other khow which brand's scent I m wearing. One of the most affordable perfumes that actually smells nice! As a self confessed snob, this perfume humbled me because I used to believe that you can't find anything cheap that is good! When the fragrance dried down, I thought it was fabulous. While the ginger was still present, it was tamer and softened by the musk, cashmere and leather. Sometimes patchouli can be overbearing but thankfully that isn't the case here.

It opens with a nice sparkle of ginger, grapefruit and light pepper. The cashmere and leather heart softens everything to balance the spice and musk. As a guy, I first thought of NOT wearing it because it reminded me of sexy guys. I naturally see sexy guys as competitors. But....why not BE the sexy guy?! I haven't smelled all of the latest DB fragrances, however in 2014, when I smelled this one- it was the best of the lot that DB had produced.

All the elements play nice together: it's not overly fresh, sporty or spicy. This would be a nice daily frag for the cooler months and has decent longevity too. The opening is a huge burst of ginger. Normally I'm not really a fan of ginger but the citrus and pepper tamed it a little. It's predominantly a sichuan pepper and woods fragrance with a zesty spicy sweetness. The composition is aided with a softening warmth of cashemran and a herbal touch of rosemary I really like the leathery woody smell but I think it is more of a night scent than a day scent but it is still worth using during a day. It is however NOT a summer scent, far too woody and leathery for hot days. It kind of reminds me of Calvin Klein Euphoria Men in performance (not scent that is far more woody and leathery.) It also plays better from fall to spring. It can work in summer but could get cloying. I've just blind-bought Montana Graphite without hesitation (yes it smells of pencil shavings but the most amazing pencil shavings you've ever smelled). :o) I also came across Usher VIP and DVB Homme both of which I've had before and recalled that they were similar.......actually on smelling them again they are so similar that if you didn't have them side by side you'd be forgiven for thinking they were the same scent.I see people all the time moaning about poor longevity with fragrances that are relatively cheap and there's no need to. The second time, I sprayed it for a workday (since it is a day scent after all) and it was lighter but still somewhat leathery though I noticed more notes like cashmere. It also didn't last all day and lasted only five hours with projection stopping at two hours. Later after a few weeks, it actually lasted an entire workday including skin, so it is a little bit too inconsistent. Would recommend this for people 30+, it is a more mature and confident smell. caught me by surprise, it is also very well priced.
