About this deal
If you follow her Instagram, then you know she'll try just about any beauty trend or treatment once (the pics of her purple hair are on IG to prove it). Microblading can be great for those with thin, sparse brows to get some definition and fullness, but Capparelli warns it might not look as natural as someone who does have hair behind the draw-on strokes. But unlike traditional tattoos, which use a tattoo gun, microblading uses a blade-shaped tool with a row of tiny, barely visible needles to create hair-like strokes along your brows while depositing pigment into your skin.
Your eyebrow hairs will continue to grow like normal, so if you like to touch-up stray hairs or shape your brows, you’ll still need to tweeze, wax, or thread. Before your microblading appointment, reach out to your studio and ask how to prepare ahead of time, as each artist can have different guidelines. But generally, your artist will first take you through a full consultation, chatting through color options and your style preferences (don’t forget to bring inspo images of what you do and don’t want).
This all depends on a few factors, as each client holds pigments longer/shorter than the next client. A super blendable and precise pencil on one end and a spoolie brush on the other to tame and shape to perfection! With precision and targeted application, it couldn’t be easier to get fuller looking hairs along your face. I’m new to microblading but the shaders are AMAZING my client lost her brows through illness and I was able to give her the type of brows she was looking for and I framed her face, she was delighted.First, Capparelli says she makes a pass with the tool (without any pigment) to lay down where the “hairs” should be.
