About this deal

The interactive pages with flaps and holes etc plus the beautiful coloured illustrations, and lots of animals made it a great hit. An hugely-interactive animal ABC guessing game with peep-through pages and amazing fold-out flaps, by the bestselling Julia Donaldson, author of The Gruffalo, and visionary illustrator Sharon King-Chai. An hugely-interactive animal ABC guessing game with peep-through pages and amazing fold-out flaps, by the bestselling Julia Donaldson, author of The Gruffalo , and visionary illustrator Sharon King-Chai.

Her other books include Room on the Broom, Stick Man and Zog, illustrated by Axel Scheffle r, The Hospital Dog , illustrated by Sara Ogilvie and the hugely successful What the Ladybird Heard adventures, illustrated by Lydia Monks. The popular bestseller from Julia Donaldson features bold and bright artwork on each page, there's also pop out pages and fold away flaps to make the guessing game exciting. To be fair, the text is fairly simple - as I'm sure most A-Z books are - the real star here is the colourful artwork.Further books illustrated by Axel include Room on the Broom, Stick Man, Zog and The Smeds and the Smoos – all of which have been made into much-loved animated films by Magic Light Pictures. Animalphabet makes the gift with eye-catching artwork and an exotic array of animals to marvel over.

Embark on a vibrant voyage of discovery through the natural world in a Julia Donaldson book like no other. Animalphabet is an entertaining way for any toddler to discover new animals, whilst learning their ABC's too. We don’t share your credit card details with third-party sellers, and we don’t sell your information to others. Her other books include The Hospital Dog illustrated by Sara Ogilvie, The Christmas Pine illustrated by Victoria Sandøy and the hugely successful What the Ladybird Heard adventures illustrated by Lydia Monks. It's fun to find the flaps, which fold out in different ways, making it a bit more interesting (though very little hands may need a bit of help here). No missing or damaged pages, no tears, possible very minimal creasing, no underlining or highlighting of text, and no writing in the margins. My 2 year old boy loves naming all the animals as we go through and he is a massive fan of this book in general. With eye-catching artwork and an exotic array of animals to marvel over, this is a gorgeous book to treasure and read over and over again – can you guess who has more legs than a butterfly? Fiona Noble, The Bookseller This absolutely stunning book turns the alphabet into a wild exploration of the animal world .
