The game box itself looked quite mature so I wasn’t sure if it would be suitable for my younger kids aged 11 but the box stated it’s aged 10+ so I was glad they could play as they were intrigued by the name and immediately wanted to play it.

If you’re looking to inject a little murder into your family (or friend) game nights (maybe you’re, I don’t know, annoyed by that one person who always double dips their chips), look no further than Ghosted, a new whodunnit board game from Big G Creative. My love of board games goes back to my childhood and passion for building relationships with others. The instruction booklet is very clear and concise, literally three pages on how to set up and play the game. I guess sometimes we need a big red sign on the wall that says “Bang head here” in the form of a WTF movie moment. And if you don’t have enough players to really delve into the psychological aspects of this, with every man out for himself, you can play cooperatively against the game itself as the harsh environment, sabotage and alien infiltration take their toll.Everything is done very professionally with this company and always lets you know every step of the process. That said, I will remind everyone that this was before CG, and it was a wholly different world of special effects then. But the game mechanics and rules are not entirely well-explained in all circumstances, including the translation between standard and cooperative play, and the playbook raises more questions than answers. It’s a solid option for any family looking for a fun deduction game that mixes up the formula a little bit.
