Queen Victoria was so impressed by the girl’s natural regal manner and her gift for academic studies, Literature, Art and Music that she gave her an allowance for her welfare and Sarah became a regular visitor to Windsor Castle. In the remakes of the movies, the Princesses (Cinderella, Belle, Jasmine) have all been played by British actresses. Elle Fanning, the actress of Aurora, speaks in an English accent throughout "Maleficent", despite being American born. The only remake exception currently is Mulan in the eponymous remake, where she is played by Liu Yifei, who is of Chinese descent. Cinderella, Tiana, Rapunzel, Merida, Moana, and Raya are shown as children in their original films. Ariel is shown as a child in her prequel movie, The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Beginning.

Jane is the deuteragonist of the 1999 Disney animated feature Tarzan and the protagonist of the 2002 feature film Tarzan and Jane. Jane was originally an official member of the Disney Princess franchise starting in the year 2000, and a Princess doll was made for her in 2004. Mirabel is the titular protagonist of the animated feature Encanto produced by Walt Disney Pictures. Her castle is quite close to the ceiling of Monster Land, that’s why she has had to learn all her ninja and monster-fighting moves so she can deal with their continuous invasion attempts. I had no objection to this story. It is a sweet story of a princess who dresses as a superhero to help keep the monsters who live below her town in their place. I am pretty careful about what my kids read and I had no objections. The monsters and brief fighting scene were mild and not scary or dark. Esmeralda was originally an official member of the Disney Princess franchise when it first launched, and a Princess doll was made for her in 2004.
