In the Tiger Shark episode, as Tweak tries to avoid being eaten by Tom the Tiger Shark, the Gup-B is revealed to have a few other modes. It was then turned into an artificial reef to protect the creatures who lived in a small reef which was destroyed by the hurricane.

Fitting because it appears in the episode The Yangtze River and in The Chinese Giant Salamander episode, the salamander captures Min the Mapmaker. It may not have been the best Gup for driving, but it was a perfect shelter for the sea creatures who lost their reef during a hurricane. The eyes of the Gup can release and become Gup-Q Scooters for traveling into small crevasses that the large Gup cannot fit in.It is an Antarctic exploration vehicle first seen in the 6th special episode, The Over and Under Adventure.

Also, a sort of construction plan for the Gup-O has appeared in the Gup-S in The Over and Under Adventure. Nothing is known about it yet, but it has only been seen on the Octonauts Gup Alphabet Chart with a question mark as the picture.
