About this deal

Bushranger” exudes an air of woodland wonder, adorned in attire that reflects the vibrant colors and textures of nature. Their appearance carries an aura of childlike fascination, and their visage reflects the mischievous demeanor of someone who finds joy in every corner of the forest. With each step they take, an aura of natural energy surrounds them, and their eyes hold the captivating allure of one who knows the secrets of the woods.

In general, I think the original skins in Fortnite are at their best when they are unique and unlike anything I’ve seen before. Enter the Bushranger Fortnite skin, which is precisely that to the utmost extreme. Sure, I will admit that the face is very weird and disturbing, but this is an otherwise brilliant example of a solid original design. The name of this skin is also a bit odd, but the general idea is that Bushranger is a peace-loving, nature-inspired creature. It is almost like a mythological being that Epic Games crafted on its own, and this works surprisingly well. Bushranger reminds me of a forest spirit of some kind that had its peace on the island disturbed by the looping battle royale matches with 100 players constantly 24/7.Bloom is, in many ways, like the darker and moodier cousin of Bushranger. They are both based on plants of some kind and hide part of their bodies. Bloom also has skin styles that change how they look in battle. Overall, though, I prefer the darker nature of Bloom, which is all-around a better fit for my tastes. Flytrap Image From Fortnite Fandom Last week's story quest saw players aiding the anthropomorphic tree in a series of missions to raise an alien hatchling and restore peace with the invaders - all part of the game's current UFO season storyline. Bushranger has always been portrayed as a shy, innocent character. Some would say naive. And so his raising of a dangerous alien hatchling seemed a little foolhardy. But for this to be the outcome?

There are fan theories that Bushranger is still alive - that the grave is actually for the alien baby instead - but that wouldn't explain Bushranger's sudden disappearance. Typically, if a character is placed as an NPC on the island, they do not vanish mid-season. Bushranger is a happy and cheerful sentient tree from an unknown reality. As long as there is a place for plant to grow, he cannot be killed. Never mind that Ariana Grande concert. Fortnite fans are today busy mourning the lovable Bushranger, one of the game's best-loved characters, who looks like he's been killed off for good. This isn’t the first time that Larson has collaborated with a video game company. Just last year, Larson was a Nintendo ambassador, frequently talking about Animal Crossing and even showing off her island on her YouTube channel. Bushranger” stands as a testament to the power of embracing the natural world and the magic of connecting with the environment. This skin invites you to immerse yourself in the beauty of the virtual wilderness, to venture into the realm of exploration with a heart full of curiosity, and to emerge as a “Bushranger,” a symbol of wild wonder in the ever-evolving tapestry of Fortnite. The quest appeared to end in success - until today, when Bushranger is no longer available to find on the game's island map as an NPC, and instead there's a small grave marked in his usual spot with some flowers. You've met Bushranger, right? Plant guy, struggles with grammar, willing to sign any release form I give him? Every movement made by “Bushranger” is a dance of joyful discovery—a choreography that mirrors the grace of one who dances with the wind and leaves footprints in the soft earth. As they navigate the terrain, an aura of wonder and fascination seems to envelop them, a recognition of their role as a steward of the wilderness and the aura of playful allure they emit. They become brown, red, green, and yellow versions that adhere to the fall and the leaves changing colors. It also shows some of the torso of the tree character, indicating that some of the leaves have already fallen. This adds a nice touch but is my least favorite of the skin styles. On the other hand, the next one, Blooming, is one of the very best. In this one, the bush around the ranger is at the peak possible for the year. The leaves are bigger and brighter than ever before. The leaves change color in this iteration, too, featuring purple, yellow, orange, and green. The twist is that it now has flowers, showing the peak bloom of this outfit. Image From Fortnite Fandom Within the depths of “Bushranger’s” persona lies the essence of untamed exploration and the charm of seeing the world through curious eyes. Their eyes hold stories of hidden glades and magical creatures encountered on forest trails, tales of crafting shelter beneath the canopy and discovering the beauty in every leaf and bloom, and their presence resonates with an aura of carefree and captivating energy—a reminder that the truest adventures are the ones found in the heart of nature.
