Normal recording, Event recording (when impact is detected in normal and parking mode), Manual recording and Parking recording (when motion is detected) For DR590, DR590W, DR650GW, and DR650S:Press the Wi-Fi/Format button on the side of the dashcam for 10 seconds until the dashcam beeps. For DR750-2CH LTE, DR770X, and DR970X: Press the Format button for about five seconds and the camera will sound a voice prompt. The reason is that dashcams put microSD cards under higher stress than most electronic products such as action cameras or DSLRs due to their constant loop recording. We test our cards extensively before selecting them for inclusion in our products, to make sure that their performance is good and degrades as little as possible over time. Touching the proximity sensor turns on/off audio recording or triggers manual recording depending on the firmware settings.
