About this deal

Boost pedals are commonly employed with other dirt pedals and depending on where you place the boost and dirt pedals in your chain, you’ll get a different result. Placing a boost before a dirt pedal will increase the saturation but not the volume; placing it after will increase the volume (albeit with some additional compression). Increase the parameter to add more overdrive to your signal, and move your tonefrom a silky-smoothcrunch to distortion with ease. Tone Control The LT Drive has greater range than most overdrives. It will happily go from a low-gain, “always on” pedal to metal bombast. If you have enough amp gain to work with, there’s not much it can’t do short of extreme metal. It’s a great all-purpose dirt pedal that can rise to many occasions. We don’t want you to have any nasty surprises when you receive a guitar from us so we do our own photography in-house. At Guitar Village we're committed to offering you the very best shopping experience possible. We strive to provide you with an unmatched choice of guitars as well as our award-winning friendly customer service, combined with the best prices in the UK. Occasionally the odd price pops up a little cheaper somewhere else. We don't want any of our customers to ever have to decide between our high level of service and a lower price, so we will always endeavour to price match our UK competitors.

Any high-end guitar with a figured finish or unique features will have its own images. If you see “✓ Actual product in photograph(s)” next to the product listing, this will be the actual item you receive. Has anyone compared the two pedals? Given I'm not really colouring the tone, just tightening an already distorted sound, will I notice enough of a difference with the Tube Screamer to justify spending the cash on one?The EQ section’s range is wide enough that you can even use the LT Boost as a simple EQ pedal. I was able to fatten and warm up my almost-too-bright Ampeg SJ-12R’s clean sound by cranking the bass and lowering the gain. Cranking the gain makes channel 1 really aggressive, and here you start to see the potential of the two channels beyond the traditional rhythm/lead binary. At these settings, with this much gain, channel 1 would be an excellent lead channel. That said, when I compared it to channel 2 at the same settings, I often thought of the latter: “Now, that’s a lead tone.” At lower settings this results in a clean boost, that can easily push an already overdriven amp into distorted saturation.

Whether you want a warmer, darker tone, or something much brighter and more aggressive, the Tone control will take you there. True Valve-Like Response These days it’s not unusual for guitarists to use one pedal for rhythm sounds and another for lead tones, which makes dual-mode dirt pedals among the most practical designs around. They’re a great way to maximize pedalboard space and minimize cabling. Guitars fully setup to any given requirements by one of our full time in-house guitar techs prior to dispatch,It’s worth noting that although there are two channels, you can’t cascade them into each other or use one channel to goose its mate like you can with some other dual-mode dirt boxes. However, this omission doesn’t diminish the LT Dual’s killer sounds.

Shape your sound accordingly with the Tone control, that allows exact adjustment of your signal's treble frequencies. One of the biggest bonuses is how well the LT Metal responds to changes in guitar volume. Manipulating the guitar’s volume knob can take you from the heaviest sonic assault to the quiet boogie sections in “Hot for Teacher.”
