About this deal

Similar to the basic counter, however is more effective when used against Medium level players opponents. At the start of each game, a randomly selected Ninja Tip would be displayed on the loading screen, selected out of the following:

Note: The Wave Sandals, Waterfall Coat,Torrent Mask and Watery Helmet can only be earned by buying the amulet in the Martial Artworks catalog in the Ninja Hideout. The Water Gem is earned by defeating Sensei in Card-Jitsu Water And lastly, when we perform Act resets, we hard reset infractions, match warnings, and penalties that players may have accumulated. For Task #16, head to the Snow Forts with a nothing on your penguin except a shovel in hand. Press D and keep shoveling until there’s 30 fellow penguins in the room shoveling as well. When playing a reverse number card, (the glowing card with a reverse symbol on it) keep in mind that the next card you play will be a low one, say a 2 or a 3. (Or make sure you get a -2 and get any card to beat the opponent) Card Jitsu Snow gets played about 100,000 - 500,000 times each day on both the web, and on mobile. [2] A player winned the 1st place if all the other players fell down the waterfall or if he/she hits the gong, causing a big wave that takes all the other players down the waterfall. The closer the other players were to the gong right before it was hit, determined their placement (2nd, 3rd, 4th), if two players were on the same distance away from the gong right before it was hit, the player closer to the left side of the screen received the higher placement. Mike Elliott, a card game designer best known for his work on Magic: The Gathering, was one of the designers of Card-Jitsu. [7]

Player One (White belt) is likely to play a Water type card to win the match. To prevent this Player Two (White belt) can play an Ice type and beat Player One's water card, preventing or at least delaying him from winning, and deploying the Basic Counter. Because of the potential threat imposed by the Trident, the most effective option is to choose an Ice type card to Basic Counter the high level Water card used as a Trident. As of this example, it shows that Player 1 can't play snow, so there is a chance of Player 2 using snow. This is an example of why you should use a fire card when someone has disabled your snow cards. If you are playing a match, you should never play the same card twice, as it may lead to getting a loss. Player 1 plays a high snow, as Player 2 will most likely be expecting a Water. Player 1 plays another snow, as most Players don't play the same element two times in a row. Player 2 will be expecting yet another snow, so Player 1 plays a high Fire. Player 2 will expect either a snow or Water to win, so Player 1 plays another Fire to counter the snow Player 2 will play. Player 1 wins with 3 Fire and 2 snow.

The "Puffle Science!" and "Puffle Partying" cards from set 7. These two cards and the previously mentioned Aqua Grabber card duplicate were replaced with duplicates of the "Ed McCool and Destructo", "Snowy Night", and "Cadence and the Keeper" cards in-game, all originally from set 2. As mentioned during the second part of Waddle Down Memory Lane, the Club Penguin Team created prototype board games in the process of development to test the concepts of Card-Jitsu Water. Board games were created for Card-Jitsu Fire too.

Our mission toward this new Belt Progression is to ensure that players are placed in the right Belt Rank according to their skill level. We believe this new Belt Progression system makes climbing the ranks more engaging and rewarding in the long run.

If you’re interested in taking a look at the gameplay of League, we’ve published an exclusive first look on our YouTube channel which you can find below. Power Card Spins is our way of obtaining Power Cards in the game. When you progress to a new belt rank, you earn 1 new Power Card Spin, which is accessible through the Belt Progression screen. We’re so excited to share with you all Card-Jitsu along with League and Elite. This has been a project from our team for multiple months and has been our complete focus. We also have a new Card-Jitsu party planned with custom rooms, Island Quests, and the ability for you to meet both Ninja and Sensei. A separate blog post will be coming that will detail the party very soon. Every time the player moves, performs an action (excepting playing cards) or is damaged by an enemy, they charge their power meter. When the power meter is filled, they are rewarded a power card of their element (unless they already have four). Power cards can be selected from the interface at the bottom of the screen and then played on any of the red highlighted tiles to deal damage and/or heal ninjas (snow cards only) in a 3x3 radius of the tile placed.

Our team is constantly looking to add more Utilities in the future. We hope to expand upon this idea by creating and adding more, which will only increase the overall strategy behind the game. We’ll be taking a close look over the next couple months and re-balancing these Utilities as we see fit. Nothing is set in stone and we’re always adapting to new ideas and potential issues. There were three ways to win a match. First, players could have the same type of card (such as Snow, Water or Fire), but three in different colors, such as Red, Blue, Green, etc. Alternatively, you could have one of each card, in different colors. Also, if you played a power card with a "No Snow", "No Fire" or "No Water" until the next round and the opponent player had only that element, no card could be placed, thus automatically making you the winner. You could also see how to play by mousing over the question mark "?" during a match. During The Great Storm of 2010, puddles formed here, one of which was notably over the water tile on the amulet pattern. For those who have climbed to Ninja, you will receive rewards based on your placement on the Leaderboard, and other permanent rewards if you have not already received them.
