GOLDEN DISK COLLECTION: The Golden Disk is a powerful artifact with the ability to reveal knowledge of the past, the future, and of the infinite possible destinies throughout time. Discover an alternate timeline in which the quantum surge that mutated many Maximals and Predacons into Transmetals, goes very differently… Firstly, the comics included a rough approximation of the Gobots characters. Secondly, they were never explicitly stated as Gobots either. Kingdom Terrorsaur includes a Golden Disk, identical to the Vok disk from the Kingdom Autobot Ark (complete with the erroneous "Sounds of Earth" reverse design from the Voyager disc) but with darker paint. The product description refers to it as the Voyager Golden Disk, [2] so maybe this time it's the Vok side which is in error? In this timeline, the quantum surge kills all Maximals and Predacons, except Tigatron. He survives, but the surge left him severely mutated, aggressive, and savage. The audio portion includes sounds of natural environments on Earth, wildlife, human voices, and music. The pictograms on the record's cover explain how to play the disc and decode the images.

With the force of the quantum surge suppressed, there isn't enough power to create the vortex, to save and power up Terrorsaur when he falls into the lava, to mutate Tigatron, or to take out all the Maximals and Predacons. And so the Autobots are never brought through the vortex, Terrorsaur perishes in the lava, Tigatron never mutates, and the Maximals and most of the Predacons survive, getting hit by a less powerful surge that causes some to gain new Transmetal forms.
