About this deal

At 77%, this gin is surprisingly smooth, with spicy juniper & cassia sweetness shining through. 77% The team behind Shortcross Gin wanted to create something that reflected the Rademon Estate. So, although many of the usual botanicals are there – like coriander, cinnamon and cassia – so are apples, clover, elderflowers and elderberries. It’s bottled at 46%. Ok, so making the trip wasn’t exactly a hardship – it’s one I make regularly because my wife is Northern Irish and we have family and friends there. However, I’d never looked past some of the better known Northern Irish gins. So, I conducted some research and embarked on a personal odyssey to see what this beautiful part of the world has to offer us gin fans… Glenariff, one of the famous Glens of Antrim in N.Ireland, looking moody… Jawbox Gin review Refreshing and pungent with tropical flavours of Pineapple, Persian Lime, Lemongrass & Bergamot. 40%

A Spanish gin inspired by Mediterranean flavours, using arbequina olive, rosemary, thyme & basil. Savoury & complex. 42.7% Fragrant with soft honey undertones leading to lemongrass, a touch of liquorice and a dry tannic finish. 43% Botanical and well-rounded, with hints of chamomile & angelica, balanced by Fresh Orange & lemon for a refreshing finish. 42%Vibrant & fruity gin with rich raspberry and cranberry taste balanced by deep, earthy juniper notes. 37.5% Sweet and well balanced gin, featuring juniper, nutmeg, sugared almond, fresh cherry flesh and a touch of orange sweetness. 40% Crisp and refreshing, balancing citrusy flavours with hints of juniper alongside fragrant and slightly sweet Asian lemongrass. 40% To taste, I found it had quite an earthy quality that certainly revealed the juniper. There was also that lime coming through and I thought a bit of pepper too. I had the sum total of two G&Ts with this gin though, so I can’t say that this was the most thorough review I’ve ever undertaken! It did however, come across as a nicely rounded gin and one that’s worth seeking out if you can find it. Belfast Artisan Gin Smooth, complex and well balanced, with a cranberry start followed by a warm spiciness that truly brings the taste of Christmas. 29%

Sweet with subtle salinity, capturing ingredients from the Scottish coast, including seaweed, ground ivy, gorse flowers and scurvy grass. 43% Smooth & sweet gin with rich, delicious taste of strawberry, earthy juniper and fresh citrus. 37.5% Fresh and tasty, with notes of sweet fruits and herbaceous hints of rhubarb, rosemary and sage. 40% Records the default button state of the corresponding category & the status of CCPA. It works only in coordination with the primary cookie. A beautiful sweet gin infused with British raspberries & raw honey from the Cotswolds in Oxfordshire. 37.5%

Notes of floral lime citrus and savoury undertone on the pallet, balanced and smooth with warming spice and subtle heat on the finish. 41% Echlinville’s spirits are distilled from barley grown and harvested from their own fields and floor-malted by hand the way the whiskey forefathers would have done.
