Settles to a passionfruit/vanilla scent soaked in booze and a hint of musk. This scent’s opening unleashes a tidal wave of sumptuous plum and luxuriously soft suede that seem to leapfrog the top notes of lemon blossom and cyclamen. Rose and jasmine are listed in the heart, but they are very light. This is an impressive high-performing fragrance that lasts 6+ hours, longer on clothing. Both sillage and longevity are excellent, thanks to the dark coffee and chocolate notes.

If you happen to find any of these fragrances at a discount, most are a blind buy, in my opinion. As long as you enjoy sweet fruity floral aromas with some sensual musky undertones, you can’t go too far wrong. These are all easy to wear scents, and most are ideal for spring/summer. While this perfume is slightly more expensive compared to other Rihanna perfumes, it is worth the price tag as the perfume lasts for a long period. Its coconut and plum scent is floral and rich – a great fragrance for your next brunch out. Rogue Love Eau de Parfumby Rihanna is a gourmand fruity-caramel fragrance with a sweet coconut twist. Released in 2014, rather than being a flanker of the original scent, Rogue Love stands firmly on its own two feet. Rogue Loveis definitely more of a daytime scent, ideal for warmer spring, summer months due to its fruits and tropical tones. This is just the type of fragrance I would wear for garden parties, shopping trips, lunches and weekend away. This fragrance’s longevity is a very decent 5+ hours with good sillage and projection that linger on the skin for hours. This fragrance gets more mysterious as the hours progress, thanks to the almost dirty patchouli.Final Rating: 8/10 – Affordable price and enticing scent – a great birthday present to buy for a friend. Rogue Love by Rihanna The only thing that lets this perfume down is its bottle design. Designed in an off-brown ‘amber’ color’ it has ROGUE By Rihanna labeled clearly in a rectangle bottle. Its lid looks cheap and there is not much creativity in playing to the scents of this perfume – perhaps they could have added an amber stone to the lid instead. The opening of this scent is a tantalisingly deep and playful plum note with light berries and peach. Just like the original scent, sweet coconut in the heart soon takes centre stage, with floral touches of tuberose and other flowers to add balance. The brand of product you buy can vary in importance, from person to person. Some people will of course be much more particular about the brands they will use. Whilst others aren’t interested in the brand and are more interested in the overall quality or price of the product itself. Thankfully Rihanna is a brand that many customers have grown to love over the years and is very popular for items in the Perfume category.

The dry-down unleashes a decadent musky base, supported by earthy patchouli and hints of wood. This fragrance settles to a beautiful ylang-ylang scent that does not overpower thanks to fresh citrus and berries. You should manage 4+ hours of longevity from Crush, and I found it projects about 2ft with a nice sillage trail. The Ylang-ylang adds real wow-factor and is nicely balanced by the citrus.More information on quality can be found in this old but still very helpful article from Harvard Business Review. Performance is pretty good, lasting on the skin 4+ hours and longer on clothing. Silage and projections are reasonable, but you will need to top up if you intend to wear this fragrance for the entire day.

Rihanna Reb’l Fleur : Rihanna set a high standard with her first perfume release, its bottle design is gorgeous and its peachy scent lasts all day. Final Rating: 10/10 – This is my favorite Rihanna fragrance, it’s affordable, perfect for daytime errands, and has tones of vanilla, pear, and musk – what more could you want?
