While this perfume is slightly more expensive compared to other Rihanna perfumes, it is worth the price tag as the perfume lasts for a long period. Its coconut and plum scent is floral and rich – a great fragrance for your next brunch out.The base notes of fragrant vanilla orchid, musk and sandalwood provide richness and depth that hold the floral and fruity notes beautifully. Settles to a feminine combination of tropical fruits and flowers with hints of wood, musk and a slight soapiness. Very nice. I managed to get 5+ hours of performance from this fragrance before it settled into a skin scent. Sillage and projection were very noticeable for the first 3-4 hours, especially the plum and vanilla. The cheeky tuberose gives an almost CH Good Girlvibe at times when it joins the vanilla. After 20 minutes, vanilla becomes almost as prominent as the coconut, creating a pleasing sweetness tempered by earthy patchouli, light musk and a touch of amber. Settles to a gorgeous coconut/vanilla scent with fruits and exotic earthy musk.

Rich dark plum leads the opening and is lightened by pretty white floral notes of neroli and freesia. An additional bouquet of peony, gardenia and orange blossom really crank up the intensity of the flowery notes. However, the plum becomes sweeter and holds its own. With her first Reb’l Fleur perfume released in 2010, Rihanna has now released 11 perfumes. The collection house Parlux has helped Rihanna create signature perfume scents that have impressed fans for over a decade. While many of her perfumes have now been discontinued, there are still ways to buy these scents and become part of the ‘RiRi’ perfume family. But First, Rihanna? Final Rating: 9/10 – Almost a perfect score from me, this fragrance has a smell to die for and its bottle looks elegant, the only thing that lets it down is its weak longevity.

Rebelle Eau de Parfumby Rihanna is a luxurious and decadently indulgent combination of warm and spicy notes. Released in 2012, the perfumers behind this sophisticated celebrity fragrance are Marypierre Julien and Caroline Sabas. Kiss Eau de Parfumprojects reasonably strongly for the first 2 hours and slowly settles to a skin scent after 4+ hours. The plum and white flowers are the most prominent. Upon dry-down, sweet vanilla and cashmere wood add some smoothness. Musk, cedar and ambergris bring some sensual tones that allow this fragrance to be worn during the evening and daytime. Dries to a sweet plum/floral scent with a musk and wood base. Final Rating: 6/10 – A good sequel to Rihanna’s popular Reb’l Fleur perfume but is let down by its weak longevity and dark bottle/box design.
