The city of Steelport was designed such that the player could identify locations without needing a minimap, with a spatially recognizable skyline and iconic gang vehicles in specific regions. [24] Character-customization is absolutely ridiculous (not as good as in SR2 though) and that is probably the game's biggest strength as both the story and gameplay fall short. Anderton, Max (November 21, 2011). "Saints Row: The Third Review". Bit-tech. Archived from the original on October 5, 2013 . Retrieved May 22, 2014.

a b Bierton, David (November 28, 2011). "Face-Off: Saints Row: The Third". Eurogamer. Archived from the original on September 9, 2014 . Retrieved May 17, 2014. In hindsight, Saints Row The Third marks a transition from the crass and provocative early entries of the series to the more open-minded and inclusive later entry and expansions. But played today, it struggles to carry so much baggage from its era.

Oh, and for the record, plenty of people have asked for this game on Switch, anyway. People on Switch forums are non-stop asking for ports of everything under the sun. First of all, Saints Row: The Third is better than any GTA game. And it isn't just some poor man's clone. It's very different, just in the same genre. The first menu invites players to try “Whored Mode.” The “Sex Appeal” slider on the create-a-character menu inflates the female character’s breasts and the male character’s penis. There’s a dildo bat. There is a penguin Easter Egg which can be found on any container ship. At the rear of the ship, there is a small penguin impaled on the wall and dripping blood.Johnny Gat: Johnny is a recurring character in the Saints Row series. He is obsessed with guns and weapons, preferring to kill his way out of any situation. Playa: Playa is the player character and protagonist in Saints Row: The Third. The player can fully customize his appearance. The PC starts the game as a low-level member of the crew and works their way up to being the leader. Guttridge, Luke (September 25, 2008). "Dan Sutton on Saints Row 2". Play.tm. Archived from the original on February 1, 2014 . Retrieved May 17, 2014. Robinson, Andy (April 6, 2020). "Saints Row: The Third is being remastered for consoles and PC". Video Games Chronicle . Retrieved April 6, 2020.
