About this deal

Here’s why you may need a bumper bar (belly bar) on your stroller, in case you are wondering whether you really need a bumper bar for your stroller.. Although the Cybex Cloud Q fits on the stroller, Babyzen does not recommend its use, as the weight of the car seat and the child (at maximum weight) exceeds the capacity of the YOYO. Easy to install on your stroller’s frame. Each side of the Bumper Bar clamps onto the frame and maintains a secure hold. The Bumper Bar feature a soft grip all around to protect your little one from painful bumps and bruises in case of collision with walls, posts, people, etc.

Another important use of the belly bar is that you can attach/hang fun toys (and even a pacifier) on it, which will keep your child entertained when you’re out. Toys can be secured to the bar for your child’s entertainment when out on long strolls or on those busy shopping days. However, here’s the most important part: Yoyo accessories don’t change! One of the most annoying featuring of basically ALL strollers but Babyzen is that when a new, often only slightly upgraded model comes out (which happens every two years basically) the old accessories don’t fit anywhere. Imagine spending a ton of money on accessories, then wanting to upgrade the stroller, and bam – bumper bar or buggy board suddenly doesn’t fit. If you don’t find any use for the bumper bar, feel free to remove it as it gets in the way, especially when folding (some bars can also be folded down along with the stroller). However, the stroller is compact enough to fit behind the front seats in the car so you don’t have to lose any trunk space. One of the times when the stroller fit – American Airlines intercontinental route

Nuna TRVL vs. Babyzen YOYO2 Pros and Cons

You can consider it to be another safety net for your child, besides the safety harness. Its great from a safety point of view, if the buggy was to ever to tip and roll over (would still recommend strapping in children) Travel system compatible with its own matching carseat (BabyZen iZi Go Modular by BeSafe) and also compatible with Maxi-Cosi Pebble and Pebble Plus, Cybex Aton Q and Nuna Pipa Created in collaboration with BeSafe®, the Norwegian safety experts, YOYO car seat is designed to protect your newborn baby and ensure he/she travels safely: YOYO car seat is a certified Group 0+ model for children aged 0 to approximately 12 months (up to 13 kg / 75 cm - 28.7 lbs / 29.5 in). We also carried a balance bike on top of it (hanged the wheel from the handle) and it was just fine, as long as the child was in the seat.

Babyzen Yoyo+ Stroller review - Lightweight buggies Babyzen Yoyo+ Stroller review - Lightweight buggies

My older son has used the Yoyo here and there and he still fits under the canopy just fine at 41.5 inches tall (105cm), so while the seat isn’t as tall as on some other strollers it doesn’t matter. The Nuna TRVL and Babyzen YOYO2 are among the top-performing travel strollers for both maneuverability and comfort, thanks to features like all-wheel suspension and a multi-position recline. I was also able to hang my own handbag on the handlebar when the kid was sitting in it and even when they were not. We can hang a diaper bag off it and it never failed when the baby is sitting in it, it’s 100% safe. I don’t know if you read my Uppababy Vista review, but we actually lived in Verona with it and it was absolutely useless on every possible occasion and the ultimate nightmare 😀 (friends in Bologna had Uppababy Cruz and also the stroller never leaving the apartment while they got something else), so definitely leave it at home or sell it before moving. Both strollers simplify travel and daily life as they grow with your child from infancy through toddlerhood, and both have pros and cons to weigh, depending on whether you're relying on the stroller primarily for air travel or using it as your all-purpose daily driver.

Bumper Bars: Top 10 reasons why you need one Stroller Bumper Bars: Top 10 reasons why you need one

My firstborn always slept and chilled comfortably in the stroller, and it wasn’t bumpy for him. Also, you can roll it around like a suitcase, which makes rolling even more seamless. Generally, I love how easy it was to move the baby stroller with one hand. It folds but you need a little push at the end and the carry strap gets lost in the stroller.Once folded, you can carry the stroller using a shoulder strap or by using a footrest handle. Preferably, buy a stroller belly bar that has a hinge on either side so you could leave one side in (instead of having to take the whole thing out) when getting your kids out of the stroller. How tall are you? If you or your partner are on the tall it’s extremely uncomfortable. Even if you’re 5’7 it’s already short and you’ll be slouching.

Babyzen YOYO2

I carried it on my shoulder various times up and down the stairs ( like in Santorini or French Riviera) when we wanted to have a stroller for meals and on flatter streets. Especially considering the fact that Bugaboo full-size buggy board for every Bugaboo stroller BUT Butterfly is pretty awesome – in my opinion, the best buggy board on the market among all brands. Visible scratches already after only taking it out of the box – before a child has even seen the stroller 🙁

Pushchair Bumper Bars. Armrest Only Suitable for Pram Baby Yoyo

Otherwise, the YOYO offers more accessory options, including two types of bassinets, a ride-along board for a toddler, and weather gear like a footmuff or parasol. Nuna TRVL Accessories It’s super heavy. Sure, it has wheels but you still need to lift it and if you need to get it up the stairs it’s 16.5 lbs to carry on top of the child. It’s more than the double weight of a regular car seat. On the brighter side, the canopy is one of the biggest advantages of Bugaboo Butterfly because it’s huge, zippable, breezy and covers the child almost completely. It doesn’t wobble like on some other strollers, it’s a well-designed and stable canopy. It folds & unfolds incredibly well with one hand and the seat is sturdy and tall, plus has a ton of storage which is a huge plus for a travel stroller. I took it to London and it did just fine on uneven pathways and up and down the curbs. While the wheels aren’t huge it even got through the cobblestones without wobbling, just a stronger push. I wouldn’t say that it can handle cobblestones like a stroller or wagon with huge wheels, but it got through them. Also, if you’ll be traveling to Europe often keep in mind that American car seat are illegal in Europe. So if you get it in the US it’s illegal to use in Europe because of the straps. Many people do it anyway, but if you get into a crash the insurance has a right to reject your claims completely if they see you used a US car seat, so it’s a risk. If you know you’ll be visiting Europe often I recommend getting a lightweight European car seat – they can be actually only 5 lbs like Avionaut Pixel!) However, it’s still a zipper-regulated recline that now will require stuffing even more material. Not to mention the break is in the middle which when the stroller is reclined deeper will be harder to reach. It’s also less convenient to push when the stroller is reclined more because you have to reach over it.
