About this deal

Also thoroughly enjoyed “She’s A Rainbow” early on, as a large beautiful rainbow had appeared behind the massive stage. Such great musicians, unforgettable songs, there should be a petition to include such Rolling Stones shows in the UNESCO World Heritage list. By the way, I'm pretty sure Mick knows more than one Robert Johnson song that he could improvise at the breakdown.

Updates of these reports pages will mainly be done within 2-4 days after the show has been performed. Overall it was another display of excellence - not quite up to the standards of Liverpool, but still very entertaining.

There is always the suspicion that it is like an election in some banana republic: the result is a foregone conclusion. Instant impression is that this was an amazingly tight iteration of the Stones and it truly worked for me! He was charging around to the extremities of the stage, playing as well as acknowledging the audience who pay homage whenever he comes close or is introduced. At the end of the song Mick went over to Keith, who was clearly expecting to touch hands – instead Mick embraced him, such was his admiration for what we had all just heard.

Don't pay for expensive travel until concerts are confirmed, and please note that even confirmed concerts may change.

It looks to me that in every concert both Mick and Keith are really looking forward to this moment, because they both clearly display to enjoy it! I had groups of fans from Argentina and Uruguay around me in the pit, they were waving flags and singing and making a great mood. I do believe we all owe the continued existence of The Rolling Stones, now in their 6th decade, to the iron will of Mick Jagger.

Shame on the organizers, who fool the fans into walking all over with entrance 1 and entrance 2, all being merged into one large bottleneck, and after the show they force us to walk into nowhere, in the dark, without lights. In my line at the box office I was the third one to pass, the first I didn’t see his tix, the second was a young and very joyful Argentinian guy who got a Pit A and I got a standard field tix. For years the name “Longchamps” reminded me of the infamous concert held on July 1st, 1995 amidst an apocalyptic storm. We did have a few patches of light rain, the first during "19th Nervous Breakdown," when Mick was coincidentally singing "Here it comes …" I was disappointed that it didn't develop into a storm that might have extinguished the vile cigar of the Belgian guy upwind from me.I say this to let you know I’m not only a fan of the Stones but have a very long, involved, and critical (in the best way I hope) expertise as a music aficionado like all of you, so you will have to take my word that whatever you think about what you saw on those videos, my words should weigh more in your ultimate opinion of Monday’s show.

MR was great, they were really comfortable this show so Keith walked again the whole catwalk to Mick. I was especially eager to hear the beginning of their set as that's where they drop the "surprises". In our group of friends we were pretty much positive that they would play “Mother’s Little Helper”, because we deemed that it would fit the event perfectly. In the before times, it wasn’t unusual to see him enjoying or participating in the local music scene I wrote about earlier rather regularly. Again, my location wasn’t in a “sweet spot”, and you must also know that phones/cameras must have been announced before we got there as being prohibited as no one was holding up their phones taking pix or vids. The coda, with the riff sung full-throated a la Buenos Aires, mixed with a soulful Jagger a la Otis Redding, was again a fitting finale. I hate to say it, but "Like a Rolling Stone" was a key audience highlight, and I enjoyed singing along with some olde London friends. The entire concert was excellent, people every were dancing, smiling and in their eyes a hint off “how the f can these guys still be this good “. As Keith noted during his set, "For a while I didn't think I was going to see you again … we've been together many years now. Time for the second part of the show, they mixed up the set list somewhat (compared to earlier shows), we got Miss You, Midnight Rambler and Paint It Black.
