The train station quartet set that features in the classic original MONOPOLY is being handed over to a travel theme for this new official version of the world’s most famous board game. The last commercial flour mill on the site was partially demolished in 1971 to make way for a road that fortunately was never built. However, players could face being sent back three spaces for littering at the National Trust’s stunning West Wycombe Park. The excitement for the Wycombe edition was captured by 23-year-old Wycombe resident and board game enthusiast Emily Jane Rutland, the winner of the MONOPOLY poetry competition in less than 25 words.
