Visitors can enjoy live music, art installations, and other performances. July We’re currently seeking people to sponsor or donate trophies for the competitive races – one for each distance, perhaps a memorial trophy for a dog you’ve lost and want to commemorate.

WHAT AN OUTSTANDING CAUSE.Some good friends of Lurcher Link are running a fundraising day at Askern Greyhound Stadium. All profits will come to the rescue and there will be rosettes and trophies on the day, for racing and hopefully for a show, too. Is the show in North Armagh not on this year? I heard it was! However, the calendar provides a comprehensive guide to the dates and locations of the events, allowing you to plan ahead and choose which ones you would like to attend.The we people were out in force on Sunday, and as I had the pleasure of judging the childrens Handling class all 42 boys and girls filled the ring with their canine companions. Peter Morgan made sure every child got a goody bag and a medal for taking part in the class. Peter also laid on 2 bouncy castles so these children could play away on the day to their hearts content. Some tired we feet on Sunday night and some stories for their teachers on Monday morning. Along with your helpers Conor Creagh and Caitlin Hughes you have put the Tally Ho Dog Show and Race Day firmly up there on the map with the Great and the Good. The Charity Box has chosen Lurcher Link as my dog rescue this year (Human charity the Stroke Association) The Lurcher Calendar 2023 is a yearly publication that features beautiful photographs of Lurcher dogs from around the world.
