About this deal

In this behind-the-scenes look at the making of Fleetwood Mac’s epic, platinum-selling double album, Tusk, producers and engineers Ken Caillat and Hernan Rojas tell their stories of spending a year with the band in their new million-dollar studio trying to follow up Rumours, the biggest rock album of the time. Apart from the fabulous music (as previous reviewers have noted age has improved the performance) a relational mystery is going on. But, it's a shame the 'Mac' couldn't have released something like this for the first albums (but then they wouldn't have had the polish, the sense, the wisdom and the heart, perhaps, that they have now, which makes it possible). We will publish your review of Fleetwood Mac - The Dance [1997] on DVD within a few days as long as it meets our guidelines. The grand finale with the USC Trojan Marching Band joining in for "Tusk" and "Don't Stop" anthem the longevity of Fleetwood Mac.

The band wasn't even suppose to have Nicks, but they wa nted Lindsey Buckingham and she was his girlfriend at the time and he would not come into it without her. Many of my favorite songs like "Rhiannon", "Big Love", "Say You Love Me", "You Make Loving Fun" and "Go Your Own Way" were played and I "discovered new songs" I hadn't heard before, like "Silver Springs" and "Landslide".What an impressive band: Lindsey Buckingham must be one of the best guitar players I've heard; Stevie Nicks' voice - sort of smooth, low, going on gravely and isn't she the image of some kind of beautiful, mysterious witch; Mick Fleetwood gurning and thrashing those drums always puts a grin on my face; Christine and John McVie mostly keeping a lower profile - cool and indispensable. The band later embarked on a 44-date tour across the United States with one stop in Canada in support of The Dance. Against all odds the video quality is acceptable and the Dolby Digital surround sound is fairly good.

Lindsey Buckingham: [talking about "Bleed to Love Her"] This reconvening of these five people was kind of an organic. During "You Make Loving Fun", Christine looks to the side at *somebody* and gets this smile on her face as she sings.Personally I love RUMOURS and TUSK, but there's just something about this live show that puts it all in perspective. And this concert is on a DVD so I can play in over and over again without wearing it out - the quality stays the same as the day I first played it.

The finale is something to behold too, complete with the accompaniment of the USC Marching Band - "Tusk" and "Don't Stop", which leads us to Christine's heartfelt encore at the piano - Fabulous! Ahhhhhh and or course Stevie Nicks soulful intensity as she moves on the stage to paint her image of the lyrics. It's also great to listen to the economy, but surprizing fill and power, of the notes just from Mick and John. The reformed band includes Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham, John and Christine McVie and Mick Fleetwood. Eyes of the World" was played instead of "Second Hand News" on opening night in Hartford, Connecticut. Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item.

Throughout the book, both Caillat and Rojas detail not only the trials and sacrifices they made to finish the album, but also triumphs of musical inspiration and technical innovation that have made Tusk the darling of music critics and indie rockers today. As at 2018, Heywood is still working with Fleetwood Mac while Tuggle is now with Lindsey Buckingham's touring band. An excellent range of their music, with close ups of them performing, Mick on his drums, Chris Mc Vee on her keyboards, and Lyndsey’s guitar skills, to forgetting John or Stevie. Many Moments captured my attention but I have to admit that “ Landslide “ and “Silver Springs” are simply Mesmerizing !I first viewed this 10 years ago (the year it was filmed) and it's a wonder I haven't outplayed the CD and Video/DVD! I loved the dvd so much, I bought the cd to play in the car and to download onto my phone and Kindle, and the sound through headphones I would say is even better. Can't help but think they are gearing up for a re-issue remaster of the album, hopefully, expanded with all the tracks performed and a Blu-ray or better version of the original DVD release. The bass on 'The Chain' still makes stop whatever I'm doing, even after all these years, but the full version of 'Rhiannon' is fantastic, and what a surprise on 'Tusk' - just watch it! There is a warm, touching overtone as the band members have reunited and worked together to bring us a delicious taste of our 70's memories.
