Constantly falling out and I can’t do a gym session without 1 falling out numerous times. I’m basically walking around the gym and doing exercises. Listening to TRUE PLUS in quiet environments reaps rather good audio enjoyment. The ear tip pouts towards the ear canals to focus more sound waves, which achieves better open bass response, but to retain the bass intensity, the ear tips need to be as close to the ear canals. Treble is airy while not too thin, providing good audio details. Sound staging is quite wide and deep. Overall, the earbuds do not sound too harsh. I enjoy listening piano music on them, which actually offers good balance of warmth, clarity and depth. Being open-fit, the sound is more open and not tight.

The TRUE GO earbuds have touch controls instead of a physical button to answer/end calls or play/pause media. You’ll need to remember different tap commands for each earbud because some taps only work on a specific earbud. As for calls, they sound fine on the earbud side, but I was told that I sounded muffled on the other side of calls. What I like It’s now time to name your speaker. The speaker has a pre- entered product default name in the app. You can keep this name, change it to another preset name or create your own name. Tap the arrow in the top right corner on the screen when you’re done

The headset is equipped with LED indicators for power status, providing clear visibility of the battery level. Additionally, it supports USB connectivity, allowing for convenient charging. Volume can be deafening, so if you like your music loud then the True Go will deliver. Sadly, the built-in messages for connecting, low battery, or signing off when the battery runs out can be disproportionately loud when compared to the audio you’re listening to. Your speaker is now connecting to your Wi-Fi network. The app will confirm a successful connection via voice and on screen. Tap ”Next” to continue. First of all, the TRUE GO earbuds are super lightweight which to me makes them feel pretty cheap, but they should also feel great in your ears right? Ok, no. They didn’t fit my ears at all and kept feeling like they were going to fall out. They also weren’t able to seal out any surrounding noise because the fit was so bad in my ears.

Super, super disappointed to be using these earpods. The sound isn’t bad at all but they don’t fit comfortably in the ear and it’s never in there snug. The app lists all the available speakers as ”Defunc HOME SMALL XXXX” and ”Defunc HOME LARGE XXXX”. Tap on the speaker that you want to set up, then tap ”Next.” Please note: The first speaker in the list is always pre-selected.A strange name and a slightly odd shape make the Defunc True Go something of a curiosity. Defunc fits LEDs under the upper part of the stems, and these let you know when the headphones are in pairing mode, plus there are microphones for calls and voice commands. The main bulb at the top is where you’ll find the control buttons, albeit buried under the silicon. These are touch sensitive, requiring very little to play/pausealong with various other commands. Being an open-fit earbuds, there is no seal to keep the ambient noise out nor the bass intensity impactful. Such is the characteristic of such earbuds, and personally I am not a fan. Open-fit earbuds are difficult to enjoy at noisy places, and turning the volume up does not help much without an in-canal seal. The position of the sensor caused me to keep touching it accidentally when trying to adjust the earbud fit. I have to make sure I rest my fingers higher up near where the “+” vent is. Adjusting volume is a slow process, as I have to adjust one tap at a time and wait for the laggy response before tapping again. The only function that’s missing is a volume adjustment. That has to be done through the paired device. The first thing the app does is to search for speakers that’s already been set up. As this is the first time you’re setting up, no speaker will be found. Therefore, tap “Add speaker” to start. Bluetooth is used by the app to find your speaker, so make sure your device’s Bluetooth is switched on.
Sound quality for music, video, and calls
Charging case battery status: A flashing blue light means that the earbuds are being charged. Each light on the charging case equals 25% battery life of the charging case. When each 25% is reached, the corresponding light becomes stable, and the next starts flashing. When charged to 100%, all lights are lit.
