About this deal

This product was received for free from the manufacturer and given to our reviewer to test and review. What do you think about the MP510, I heard that it uses Cordura Fabric which is both sweat and humidity resistant, do you think it can help me here? The Gigantus Team Razer Edition is a pad that I’ve personally never tested (though I believe it’s one of the slower pads out there, at least going by mainstream brands) so I can’t say too much about it, but I do know that the Gigantus V2 is a great ‘middle of the road’ pad. The G640 is the company’s most popular cloth pad (and currently the most popular mousepad in the Overwatch pro scene) so it’s only logical that this one gets a thorough look from our reviewer as well. The old one I’ve been using was some cheap fake razer cloth mouse pad and I felt way more accurate and “snappier” with it. More control on your mousepad is great for precision and accuracy when aiming, so if you’re into those types of games more than anything else, then the G640 is a solid option. The Logitech® G640 Cloth Gaming Mouse Pad's cloth surface provides the ideal friction for low-DPI gaming, improving mouse control and the precision of cursor placement. Some pads have this issue where they start to feel very murky and different from how they were when they were new, which means that you’ll have to clean the pad a whole lot, but the G640 remained consistent all throughout my testing. I live in India and the humidity here is horrible for mousepads, and to make it worse my palm sweats a bit after a few sessions, because of which my mousepads feel muddy.I mean, 3mm is not thick by any means, but this one has little or no sponginess to it so it feels quite thin. If the item comes direct from a manufacturer, it may be delivered in non-retail packaging, such as a plain or unprinted box or plastic bag. I obviously can’t see your pad, but if you feel like the center is significantly different from the sides then you should probably contact the seller and ask for a different pad as that definitely shouldn’t be the case.

If I personally had to choose I’d go for the G640 (it feels a bit nicer to me overall) but obviously everyone has different preferences. The G-SR is indeed a super controlling pad so stay away from that one if you desire speed, and the 3XL is indeed in the ‘standard’ department when it comes to gliding speed.

Clearly, it’s less about the fact that it is an all-round excellent mousepad and more about the fact that those gamers prioritize performance over anything else. Hey ProSettings, I currently have a Razer Goliathus Control and I have been using it since Jan/2014. Apparently, Logitech’s G640 mousepad is one of the most popular mousepads among pros that play Valorant. And after a week of use I'm not sure if dust in the mouse feet or dust in the sensor hole affect track/glide ( I don't think they're detrimental enough to be noticed?

I do normally prefer a hard surface so at the moment I would like it to be a little faster and will upgrade the skatez to improve this. If you really want a fast glide I can recommend the Glorious Helios, it’s one of the only hard pads on the market right now and it’s got a really consistent and fast glide. That doesn’t mean that it’ll never need cleaning (every cloth pad will need a shower at some point) but it’s definitely a plus. The way I see it you can choose between the G-SR-SE, the Gigantus V2 (don’t get a custom one since those have a different glide), or the newly announced VAXEE PA. Unfortunately all cloth mousepads will degrade over time, so depending on how long you’ve used it for your wear and tear might be considered ‘normal’. I do like it despite the annoying logo problem that can be solved unless you have a serious case of OCD.
