About this deal

Unlike the Imalent MS08 and RS50, the MS12 MINI doesn’t have a plastic shell with the fans built-in. They still don’t seem to be controlled by temperature, but turn on at 5,000 lumens or more (which means from Middle1 mode onward).

The 12 LEDs sit in reflectors with a light orange peel (LOP) finish that makes the beam a bit smoother than smooth reflectors. Specifications say the reflector is made of aluminum but I doubt that. Brightness: The brightness of a flashlight is measured in Lumens, which is a unit of measurement for the total amount of light emitted by a source. Powerful flashlights typically have a high Lumen rating, allowing for a bright and clear light beam. Measurement disclaimer: Testing flashlights is my hobby. I use hobbyist-level equipment for testing, including some I made myself. Try not to get buried in the details of manufacturer specifications versus measurements recorded here; A certain amount of difference (say, 10 or 15%) is perfectly reasonable. What’s Included

common modes make the MS12 mini more flexible and can be used in a variety of scenarios. Whether you live in an urban area and want a flashlight to light your way home, or are a rancher who needs to get up early to care for animals, the MS12 mini has you covered.

All output numbers are relative to my homemade Integrating Sphere. It is set up with an Extech SDL400 Lux Meter for measurements including a Kenko PRO1D ND-16 filter. The base measurement is done with a Convoy S2+ that has been tested at 255 lumens. The MS12 Mini has built-in charging. There’s a charge port in the tail end, covered by the metal disk we talked about above. Hey, wait a minute. Didn’t we already review the Imalent MS12? Yep, but this is a newer version, the MS12 MINI, and is way, way, way smaller, and more powerful. Over the past decades, our brand has grown bigger and bigger. Our products feature innovations such as ultra-long beam projection, ultra-high lumen output, multiple cooling systems, OLED displays, high-drain rechargeable batteries, and various fast charging methods. As a result, our product is a must-have for professional and everyday use because of its superior lumen output, the world's longest throw distance, USB rechargeability, and more. These features are the most important factors when choosing a flashlight as an everyday carry (EDC) gear. Depending on whether you need some extra features, we always certainly have the best to offer.

IMALENT MS18 - This high-performance flashlight features a maximum output of 100,000 Lumens and has a beam distance of up to 1,350 meters. Imalent is living proof that you do in fact, get what you pay for. I had really high expectations of this light, and was in no way disappointed. The MR90 is a very well-made unit, and delivers the best of both worlds. The spot light projects a clear, perfectly round dot that can illuminate anything as far away as I can see. Living in a big city with a lot of light pollution makes it impossible to verify the throw of the spot beam, though. The flood light is absolutely insane at full power, and feels like it could light a stadium, or flat-out melt someone at close range! The user interface is simple, and the strobe spot is a handy safety feature. Imalent was very communicative and easy to deal with, and they got my light to me in about a week. IMALENT's forward-thinking approach is exemplified by their early adoption of the 21700 high-drain lithium-ion battery, which has been used to power high-performance flashlights for years before their competitors. In addition, IMALENT was among the first companies to incorporate an active cooling system into their flashlights and implement air-cooled heat sinks for optimal heat dissipation. These innovations have set IMALENT apart from the rest and allowed them to maintain its position as a leader in the industry.Imalent also included a lanyard that can be attached to the plate covering the charge port. I’m not convinced that this is a good way to carry it, because the plate can be unscrewed from the flashlight. So, if you’re not paying attention, the plate could unscrew, and drop the light if you just carried it with the lanyard. There is no lanyard attachment point anywhere else on the flashlight. First of all, the integrated fans are a big improvement over the heat shroud used in a few previous models. Output on this model is great and very high for a little while before stepping down. The fans seem effective, and the Imalent MS12 Mini flashlight can hold high output for quite some time. I would like a lower low, though. Long Review The Big Table Imalent MS12 Mini Flashlight MS12 Mini as a bright LED flashlight, has 6 common modes all the way from 1,500 lm to 25,000 lm, plus 3 special modes, namely Moonlight mode at 50 lumens, Turbo mode at 65,000 lumens, and strobe mode. The MS12 mini is a must-have for your outdoor lifestyle, the long duration at 1,500 lumens can work as an alternative light source as well! Here is the list with most of the high-power flashlights we reviewed in this category (Category: high-power soupcan sized flashlights). Flashlight (and Link)
