About this deal

The battery level is represented by a line of dots in the top-right of the game selection screen. Show the Retroarch menu

It features an aluminium metal shell, and a functional, non-flawed built-in Wi-Fi chip (2.4GHz only). Outside of that, there is nothing else of note about the unit; it is otherwise identical to the RG351P.A common issue that people experienced with the second generation of ANBERNIC handhelds is the barebones nature of the interface. While not complex, the overall layout intimidated less-experienced users, and was found to be somewhat clunky to use for even experienced users. Once you’re done, you’ll need to remove then reinsert the microSD card into your laptop/PC. Ignore the error saying that the disk needs to be reformatted. Hold B + Right to move to the start of the next Letter (e.g. skip to the first game that starts with the letter E) Now your Adam microSD card is ready for use in your device. Simply insert it, and you’re good to go! From the makers of retro gaming handheld heavyweights such as the RG350, RG350M, and the RG351P, comes Anbernic’s latest entry into the field – the RG280V.

A partition management tool. We prefer MiniTool Partition Wizard, but you can use anything that works for you.Rather than a straight upgrade, the RG300X can be considered a niche side-grade to the RG350 family, like the RG280V. Finally works all IPU resolutions in hardware mode, I have had to put a different configuration for each group of resolutions in the kernel, I hope that none is skipped. opk files reside in the /media/data/apps directory. Newer applications can added, ones that have little use can be removed. Some of these applications end up in the Applications area on the RG280V, or in the Games or Emulators areas. The RG351V‘s screen is 640x480p and has a 4:3 aspect ratio. This allows it to better handle a larger variety of retro consoles. For all intents and purposes the resolution of this screen is 320×240, but you’ll often see it described as 320×480. The LCD has a non-standard pixel structure. What that means for us laymen is that if you really look closely you’ll see that every vertical straight line is slightly jagged, because the pixels aren’t square. On a screen this size it’s hard to make out. Some people argue that it gives a more authentic look, others prefer square pixels. For scaling non-integer resolutions like the GBA’s 240×160, I think it looks better than a standard 320×240 display.

Expertly configured by K-tec. Adam custom firmware pre-installed. We have also refined the configuration of this device and its emulators to improve performance and user experience. The addition of 2 extra shoulder buttons and a CPU bump from JZ4760B to JZ4770 makes this a bona fide successor to the LDK, and is a good upgrade for those looking for a compact but capable emulation handheld. AVAILABILITY AND PRICE Walmart has a small case that protects the RG280V. The case appears to be available at a cheaper price elsewhere.
