One huge contributing factor to this variety is the sheer amount of different enemy types in the Forbidden West. It’s not just in the range of machines on show, but also in the humans determined to stop you. Product itself is great, the disc did run at noticeable noise level (as if those old disc player), but only for the startup of the game. If you have nothing in the disc drive then no noise was made.
