With a Microsoft 365 Personal plan, you can sign in with your Microsoft account and receive device protection 7 for yourself on up to five devices simultaneously. With the Microsoft 365 Family plan, you and your family members can sign in with their Microsoft account and receive device protection on up to 30 total devices simultaneously (five per person, up to six people total). Microsoft is partnering with Experian® to provide identity theft monitoring 2, credit monitoring 3, and support within Microsoft Defender for individuals.Important: Identity theft monitoring is currently only available to customers in the United States. A Microsoft 365 Personal or Family subscription is required. Sign into the app with your personal Microsoft account. Upon sign in, your personal account is validated for a Microsoft 365 subscription and access to Microsoft Defender for individuals is granted. Manually connect to a VPN, 5 which is secure and encrypted, before connecting to public or unsecure Wi-Fi networks. If there are no Defender plans enabled on the subscription, data will be removed from Azure Resource Graph after 30 days of inactivity in the Microsoft Defender for Cloud portal.
