My son had braces on his teeth. I think I tried using a spare elastic from his brace. It was about the same size as the o ring.When I first cleaning it, blue inks come out, seems like recently Jinhao do test all their newer pen / nib, I've blue ink come out on Jinhao 80 too. Well, the colors. I would buy at least the yellow, but I don't want a Pikachu yellow, just a soft pastel. I could say the same of the green. My Jinhao 82 finally arrived, I got the pastel blue with gold trims. The pastel blue is really really pastel, soft looking.

Even though they are exactly the same shape and size, the main difference between the Professional Gear Slim and the Lecoule is that the former has a metal connector joining the grip section and the barrel, whereas the latter is plastic and thus significantly lighter in the pen's total weight. That might be true but I think Jinhao designers had a Sailor on their double screen when they designed this one... Keep collections to yourself or inspire other shoppers! However, the inner cap liner is in the way of using a tool to immobilise the nut, so must be pulled out before the nut can be accessed to remove the cap finial and swap them around between pens; and I don't have such a tool.
