About this deal

We are a small group of avid Vapers that came together to guide users when buying a new vaporizer and reduce the guesses you have to make when searching for the best vaporizer for your needs. One of the major highlights between these two vaporizers is the ability to use replaceable 18650 batteries on the fly when needed. Not only does it eliminate the need to bring a charger along when taking either vaporizer outdoors, but it means that you can use the DaVinci IQC or IQ2 for years and just easily replace the old battery as it wears out over time which is usually the case for most portable vaporizers.

However, if you have mobility issues with your hands, filling and inserting the capsules might be more hassle than it’s worth. There’s also a “pearl” in the oven that needs to be adjusted to hold the capsules properly. If we receive no notification from you within 10 Business Days of the delivery date, you agree that the Products will be deemed delivered without defect. The IQ2 can be a great fit for any kind of user. It’s simple enough to use for beginners, but its customization options also make it appealing for advanced users. DaVinci has a strong reputation for designing some of the best portable vaporizers. The IQ2 is a conduction-based portable vaporizer—and their flagship model. Released in late 2019, and following up on the original IQ, the IQ2 introduced features like adjustable airflow, better battery insulation, a dosing control feature, and a fancy brushed aluminum body. The IQ2 is the second most expensive portable we sell, so it’s not for anyone operating on a tight budget, for starters. It’s also not going to do if you’re in a hurry, with its one minute heat up time and eight minute sessions. Conduction vaporizers aren’t known for their efficiency, either, so keep that in mind. Final thoughts The PAX 3 is great when it comes to vapor production and flavor. I didn’t think the DaVinci IQ2 would be able to surpass it, but after my first session I already had a definitive answer –the DaVinci IQ2 is a freakin’ monster with respect to vapor production and overall performance. No clause of these Conditions will be deemed waived and no breach excused unless such waiver or consent is provided in writing. Both the IQC and IQ2 come with the same purple 18650. They remind me of Efests. Expect about an hour of run time, although that may vary depending on your temperature settings. For example, if you only use the first Smart Path versus running it at 430 F for the full duration, you should get more running time. I’m still able to get five or six sessions running it maxed out for the entire time.

Take note that neither of these two vaporizers require the app to operate and both work perfectly fine without having to use the app to make any changes. Another notable difference here is that the DaVinci IQC does a slightly better job at insulating the heat from inside the vaporizer thanks to a change in the heating chamber (previously zirconia with the DaVinci IQ2) to a high temperature silicon. If there is an error in any information that forms part of an offer from us to you, any agreement arising from your acceptance of that offer will be void at our absolute discretion. I experienced the best vapor at around 390F at precision mode or the second and third smart paths. For heavy hitters- the IQ2 can heat up to 430F, which is higher than even the Mighty’s 410F. The higher temperature can be used for extracts, but I do not recommend going over 420F with dry herbs. The IQ2 features a choice of four smart heating paths that offer a range of unique vaporizer experiences, and our precision temperature mode which heats your material to a specific temperature.

To activate the "Boost" mode, hold down the round button on your IQ2 and watch the temperature rise to the highest temperature. This feature can be performed at any time during any heat mode.

The IQ2 features a grid LED display that displays temperature levels and other settings. The IQ2 also has a “stealth mode” that can be activated by pressing the power button and the down arrow together to dim the LEDs. Wax Compatible The extended mouthpiece is my favorite mouthpiece so far because the longer airpath helps to cool down the vapor, making each hit feel more natural. The downside is that it reduces portability a little. The other nice thing about the DaVinci IQ was how much use time I got for the charge time. With my Pax, it takes about three hours to charge and gives me about 90 minutes of use. And that, along with the IQ2’s amazing performance and ease of use, is why this is now my go-to #1 portable weed vape. The upgrades or differences with the new Davinci IQ2 Carbon include a carbon fiber exterior, which helps keep the unit cooler, especially during longer or group sessions, and a new USB-C charging system.Everything about the IQ2 Carbon screams quality. The unit itself is sturdy while still being lightweight and portable (5.6 oz/159 g) and feels solid in your hand.

One of the new features we’re excited about is the Air Dial. For the best experience, we suggest sitting around setting 2 and 3. This gives enough flow for air to move and pass through your herb evenly and efficiently. Open it up a little more for bigger hits or close it down for easy sips. The biggest difference on the IQC is that it does USB-C charging, hence the C. It doesn’t monitor dosages or have adjustable airflow, but it charges up a lot faster! The vapor chambers are identical on both, but the cap on the IQC’s chamber is made of silicon versus ceramic on the IQ2. The included mouthpieces are silicon, but the ceramic options are available separately. The magnets on the door of the IQC are a little stronger and feel more secure when you close it.While the absence of an adjustable airflow control on the DaVinci IQC might seem like a letdown, the DaVinci IQC didn’t actually suffer when it came to vapor production like we initially thought it would. Sure, being able to tweak the airflow on the DaVinci IQ2 was a neat feature that most vaporizers seem to have forgotten about. That is until it became apparent that the most optimal airflow configuration on the DaVinci IQ2 was the one closest to how the DaVinci IQC was already set to. One of the new key features is the new air dial, giving you an adjustable air flow. For easier and cooler draws, you can increase the airflow or if you want the vapor to be bigger and denser, you can decrease the airflow. This feature allows you to experience vapor which is 50% cooler than other devices. DaVinci is no stranger to vaporizer smartphone apps, having released one of the industry’s first with the IQ in 2016. Apple threw them a curve ball just before the release of the IQ2, by banning all vaporizer apps from the Apple store in November. The good news is DaVinci had enough time to add the dosing control feature to the IQ2’s on-board controls. The bad news is we won’t see an updated smartphone app that can take advantage of the new features until March, on Apple or Android. Currently, the IQ2 can connect to the old version of the app, but we found it a little buggy. Specs
