I started using gt85 about 19 years ago after a mechanic that worked on my Yamaha R1 was using it , it’s Miles better than others on the market , I now use it on almost everything, I work as a joiner , it is used on my power & hand tools , i keep a can in my van 🚐,1 in the shed & another in the house , it’s great on my e-bike after being up the hills 🚵 use it to drive out moisture… it lubricates and protects ! Also on every tool I own for work and play as it smells amazing and as it has ptfe it’s the best protection for all things metal 😜 Be aware to avoid getting this on your rims or brake pads though, it definitely doesn't help in any way here!

We use it on the cars, bikes and tools in the garage, tools and lawnmower in the shed and on door hinges around the house. A great all in one product for lubrication and cleaning. I’ve been using gt85 on my bike for over 10 years to lube all parts, cleaning, dewatering, and shining and despite all the new products on the market that claim the same they’ve never topped gt85!! Plus, it smells the best!!!

Surprisingly, once you've cleaned your bike you can use GT85 to get a real shine from the frame, of course using a different cloth, preferably dry and microfibre.It'll help remove the worst of the rust and will get all the important parts moving again. By no means is this a cure - but it'll get the bike to a rideable state for sure. It's likely you'll need to replace a few components, but at least this way you can ride to the bike shop.
