The Level 3 Coaching Theory course forms part of the complete Level 3 qualification and this can be taken at any time during your progression through the technical modules. Coaches may not have developed the whole skill with each gymnast, and instead may have been involved only in early progressions or in the refinement or remedial aspects for some. The is both acceptable and expected as gymnasts will be in different stages of the learning journey. When a section of a level is completed, the book is marked by the coach with the official stamp and a medal is awarded to the gymnast.

This CPD module explores topics relevant to coaches who are working with development or performance gymnasts or managing gymnastics programmes and teams of coaches. It is designed to either develop your knowledge or reinforce your understanding on the important topics of the coaching process, coaching philosophy, and the qualities of effective coaches.
