About this deal

The HB150UK from Ninja is a blender for all seasons. From smoothies to soup, you can cook and blend at the same time with this versatile 2-in-1 appliance. Programmes and Features This Vitamix blender has an impressive ten variable speed settings, a pulse function, and five programs with predefined speeds and durations for everything from smoothies to dips and spreads. There's even a programmable timer to set the blender to work and automatically switch it off once the timer is up. The controls are devilishly simple to get the hang of – there are five programmes at the push of a button, such as green smoothie, frozen dessert or soup (designed to heat up ingredients rather than blend already hot soup), plus a manual dial for ramping up through 12 speed settings and an LCD screen showing count up or count down times. The Tefal blender has eight preset cooking functions and ten programs in total, which is more than any of the other blenders that we have tested. But despite the additional functionality, it’s not drastically more expensive than other models. This is why we awarded this blender the "Best value multifunctional blender".

Frustratingly, the lid was very hot when adding the dried noodle nest, so if you're looking to add ingredients part-way through cooking, please be careful. Note that I did test the keep warm function while making this recipe, and while the soup did retain its temperature, the soup noodles did go a bit sludgy in texture. However all that power has to have a payoff, and that’s a bulky and weighty base. Together with the jug this blender weighs 6.93kg but it is still quite easy to move thanks to some well-positioned grooves on the side. It looks sleek from the front, but the base is 25cm deep, something to consider if you have limited worktop space available.Best of Gift: Galanz Digital [GLCB60ES210A] Hot and Cold Blender Key Features: 1000 Watts blender output, 8 Preset Programs, Borosilicate glass jar, Neat touch controls, built-in timer, and heating element For all the pros and cons of these appliances, head to our full feature on Blenders vs. juicers: what’s the difference? How do I clean a blender? This blender is excellent if you have a large household or want to make large quantities of mixtures in one go. The machine is also pretty tall, measuring 46cm high.

When using this blender you have ultimate control as there are ten speed settings as well as three preset settings. But despite the options, we found that the results were less smooth than some other models.

…and so much more!

Secondly, this blender can prepare cold blend recipes like smoothies, milkshakes, juice, frozen drinks, and ice cream. It also has dedicated heating functions for cooking soups, baby food, cheese fondue, or just warming liquids. More on that, the blender uses a glass jar, which is much better, compared to plastic, when blending hot ingredients. It also does come with a tamper to help you push the stubborn foods into the blades without having to stop the motor.
