This is the last main game to be released fully for the Wii. Superchargers instead released a racing spin-off for the Nintendo Wii called Superchargers Racing However, Sunscraper Spire and Midnight Museum has a light-up feature in their toys and are listed as LightCore when summoned.

However, the Eon's Elite Skylanders are considered new Skylanders, even though none of them appeared on the character poster. Using Traptanium Crystals, a magic material that can harness the power of the Elements, Portal Masters now have the amazing ability to trap villains within the crystals and even transform into them to fight for good! Rounding up these legendary bad guys will be no easy task. Now that's not to say it's horrible to play and that you can't enjoy it, but you will have to do some adjusting. I expected as much since it was an older game, but I wasn't quite expecting that. Skylanders Trap Team is compatible with all Skylanders toys from the previous games. However, the new Skylander characters will not be compatible with the previous Skylander games unless it's a new version of a returning character.Skylanders can be switched out on the Portal of Power at any time during the game. In fact, the only way to lose in the game is if all of your Skylanders lose their health New Cast of Characters – A brand new group of Skylanders, known as Trap Masters, lead the charge armed with their oversized crystal weapons in the fight against the most wanted villains and returning nemesis Kaos. The game introduces more than 50 new playable Skylanders heroes, including: Spyro’s Adventure (2011). This is the pioneer among the Skylanders series. Basically, it is the introduction of the Spyro character and the cast of other playable characters. In general, this is the green base of the adventure. In most trailers and commercials for the game, the announcer strangely says "Over 60 new Skylanders" when only 57 Skylanders appeared on the character poster. Toys to Life, Life to Toys – Players experience an exciting new level of Skylanders innovation through the Traptanium Portal, a new ring of magical energy which reverses the magic of the toys to life category by letting players bring digital characters into the physical world. A built-in audio speaker allows players to magically hear the unique voices of the villains travel from the game into the real world Trap, and vice versa. The Trap also lights up in sync with the villain speaking, adding even more magic to the experience. If you look closely, you can almost see the villain trying to escape from inside the Trap.

Upon playing the game, you will be set in a world called the Skylands. This is a realm which is made of floating islands and adventure. This is going to be the center of its universe that will be regularly threatened by evil forces who want to dominate Skylands so that they can get all the access to the worlds. Good thing, a group of heroes referred to as the Skylanders use their machinery and strength to defend the world. That is where the game begins! You can find the installment of Skylanders here at everyday low prices. These retailers also often have clearance sale events where you can get some fantastic money off on selected items. In addition to Elemental Gates, there are now Villain Quests that can be completed after capturing a Villain and taking it to a character during the story mode. Sometimes completing a Villain's Quest will open up a new area or give you a new item.SuperChargers (2015). In the fifth installment, another group is again introduced with the SuperChargers. When you look at the Wii version, you may stumble upon a different title with the Skylanders: Superchargers Racing. This does not come with any adventure segments from Wii U and PS3 versions. There are also new Villain Stashes which are the same as Treasure Chests, but only Villains can open them. Like Skylanders, Villains are made up of a certain element. Two Ways to Play – In Skylanders Trap Team, you can play as a Skylander or capture Skylands’ most wanted foes and unleash them for good. Skylanders Trap Team features Elemental Gates that can only be opened after using a new Trap Masters of the same element. For example, a Water Elemental Gate can only be opened by Snap Shot or Lob-Star. Unfortunately, you will not be able to access all areas in the game without more toys. You do not need these toys to play the game and complete the story, but they are needed to access all areas and find all Collectibles. Many believe that Skylanders Imaginators is the best installment there is from the game. While it is true that there might be some other areas it can explore, there are things that you would still love about it. If you are a beginner, it should not be impossible for you to love this game. Swap Force (2013). In this installment, another setting is introduced with the Cloudbreak Islands. This is where a player takes control of the newly-introduced group of Skylanders referred to as the “Swap Force.” They have the ability to swap skills and they can also be divided into halves. Most of the Skylanders utilise them to fight not just against Kaos but also his mother Kaossandra as well. From this base, the colour is blue. When playing, you must get used to the plot. Do everything to avoid Kaos. This is the main antagonist of the series. Your main goal is to stop him from ruling Skylands.The game itself doesn't really compare to Imaginators in quality. Especially since the Switch has better resolution for Imaginators than the PS3 version does (yes, I own two copies of Imaginators). Trap Master Skylanders – Trap Master Skylanders are the ultimate trappers with powerful Traptanium weapons After acquiring an Information Squid from Mags's home village, the Skylanders want to know why the Doom Raiders are obtaining Traptanium. Eventually, Mags's Information Squid turns out to be Kaos in disguise who soon forms an unlikely alliance with the heroes. With Kaos being the only lead to where the Doom Raiders are, the Skylanders travel to Monster Marsh where they find Dreamcatcher terrorizing a Mabu village. They are able to stop her by waking the sleeping townspeople up, but Dreamcatcher escapes. The Skylanders head to Telescope Towers to prevent her from stealing secrets of Traptanium from the dreams of Mabu scientists. After many battles through the maze-like labs, Dreamcatcher decides to stop the Skylanders herself, but fails at the attempt and is trapped.
