About this deal

The nominal cross section of each conductor has to be chosen that the current-carrying capacity is not smaller than the max. constant current, passing the conductor under normal conditions. The limit temperatures to which the current-carrying capacity refers to, shall not be exceeded for the insulation and sheath of the corresponding cable types. A defined condition is also the type of laying of the used cable. This has to be considered for the determination of the allowed load currents. Conditions that have to be considered are among others: Table 4E1B | Voltage Drop Single-Core 90°C Thermosetting Insulated Cables, Non-Armoured, with or without Sheath Standard: BS5467: Electric cables. Thermosetting insulated, armoured cables for voltages of 600/1000V and 1900/3300V Factor for deviating number of cores (five cores) according to table 27: 0.75 (34 A x 0.75 = 25.5A) This 10mm² Single Core Earth Cable is suitable for power and lighting circuits, building wiring, use in conduits and closed installation ducts and internal appliance wiring. The 6491X cable comes in a 100m drum.

This 10mm² Single Core Earth Cable is suitable for power and lighting circuits, building wiring, use in conduits and closed installation ducts and internal appliance wiring. The 6491X cable comes in a 50m drum.

6491X Single Core Cable - 6mm, 10mm and 16mm - TLC Direct

Current carrying capacity with two wires 1.5mm² loaded at the same time at up to +30°C according to table 10 and 11/5: 18A Table 4F2A | 90°C and 180°C Thermosetting Insulated Flexible Cables with Sheath, Non-Armoured (Copper Conductors) For cables having flexible conductors see section 2.4 of this appendix for adjustment factors for current-carrying capacity and voltage drop. Eg, i've added an electric towel rad to the bathroom and obviously need to bond it to the metal pipework in the bathroom. I have a reel of 10mm multi-strand [7 strands to be precise] cable, is this the same as 10mm single core. For this installation cable the current carrying capacity is required at +50°C ambient temperature, two loaded cores and laying with three other cables on one floor. Where it is intended to connect the cables in this table to equipment or accessories designed to operate at a temperature lower than the maximum operating temperature of the cable, the cables should be rated at the maximum operating temperature of the equipment or accessory (see Regulation 512.1.5). We do not sacrifice the quality of our products to keep prices down. We have seen companies start and fail by selling poor quality goods at what seem to be 'bargain' prices. We will not advertise or supply poor quality imported products just to display the lowest price. Single-Core 90°C Thermosetting Insulated Cables, Non-Armoured, with or without Sheath - Table 4E1A Current-carrying Capacity (amperes): Current carrying capacity for a nominal cross-section of 4.0mm² at up to +50°C according to tables 10and 11/5: 34A

SINGLE CORE CABLE 6491B / H07Z-R - BS EN 50525-3-41 SINGLE CORE CABLE

Factor for laying in three layers on a motor drum according to table 28: 0.49 (20.1A x 0.49 ≈ 9.9A)
