About this deal

If you’ve got one particular station that you listen to above all else, then you can save that to a one-touch favourite button. The process works just like the presets, but with instant access to your station of choice. The Roberts Revival Uno BT is compact and portable, making it easy to move around and place in different areas of the home. It is powered by AC or battery, allowing for convenient use both indoors and outdoors. The radio also has a built-in battery charger, ensuring that the battery is always ready for use. That’s not to say that the Roberts Revival Uno BT radio isn’t any good, but it is limited in what it can do. Even as one of the least expensive options in the Revival range, it’s easy to say that the Uno is quite expensive for what it is. You’re really just paying for the retro design and the Roberts brand name.

It is worth mentioning that the new Roberts Revival UNO BT can be powered either by an external power supply unit or simply by four standard AA batteries. This makes the Roberts Revival UNO BT extremely flexible, as it can be used anywhere, even when travelling. Various colours available Roberts Revival UNO BT, the English specialist Roberts Radio Ltd. once again proves that it is possible to interpret classic radio in an elegant vintage design in a very innovative way and thus realise a solution for flexible use. The Roberts Revival UNO BT presents itself as a solution of the Roberts Revival Series in the design of the 1950s, but is actually not only a portable FM radio, but also has a DAB+ tuner and is equipped with Bluetooth. Roberts Revival UNO BT – For Vintage and Technology Fans The Roberts Radio maintains the warm and classic sound quality we’ve come to know and love from Roberts. In fact, probably the most appealing thing about this unit is its stylish retro design. Like other products from the Revival range, the Uno mimics the beauty of a classic-style 1950s radio. It can create more than acceptable tones at just about any volume, particularly for spoken word. If you love listening to podcasts and talk shows, this is a great radio. FM performance is also great with great sensitivity and good selectivity, rarely need the aerial extended. auto scan works well on the distant setting.

Featuring wireless music streaming via Bluetooth, it’s easy to link up to your smartphone, tablet or laptop. Simply pair with your device and stream your favourite music streaming services, such as Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal and BBC Sounds. However, the Uno might not be able to fill a room quite as well as some of the other, larger devices on the market. This radio is very compact (20.7 cm wide), and you need to be aware of this before buying as you’ll be disappointed if you’re expecting something larger. The small size makes it very easy to carry around the house and garden, and you can power it with AA batteries so it works well as a portable radio.Cover the shielding behind the bass port as you can see silver shining through in certain lighting. The style of Roberts Radio is what really attracts me to things like their Revival range. However, as any radio lover will know, style isn’t everything. Otherwise, if you don’t get a signal, reposition the radio to a location with excellent reception and conduct a fresh station scan. Selecting DAB and FM Radio Stations The new Roberts Revival UNO BT has been developed for all those who are enthusiastic about design in a vintage look, but still do not want to do without the most modern features. The Roberts Revival UNO BT is a compact solution that fits in every living room, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom or on the garden veranda and can play music in good quality via radio or from mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets.

As you’d expect from a smaller radio, the Uno has less power and can’t go as loud. It could be a good choice for a bedroom or other small, quiet room, while the RD70 would be a better choice if you need something loud. After finding the channel you want to listen to, simply press the tuning knob to select it and start listening. You can play all your favourite digital radio stations without any interference. Headphone, aux in and line out connections are highly useful, it is great having the dc in and line out on the bottom in a recess with plenty of room for ease of connection. Remember that it’s intended more for style and quality than any boom-box functionality. It’s worth thinking about how you’re going to use your new radio before investing in this one. Roberts Revival Uno review: VerdictThe Roberts Revival Uno BT is a radio that offers Bluetooth connectivity for streaming audio wirelessly. It features a classic design that is reminiscent of vintage radios, providing a retro aesthetic. The radio is equipped with DAB and FM reception, allowing users to access a wide range of radio stations with clear and crisp sound quality. Improve the line out function as this only works if the radio has the sound on at least level 1 and is unusable with Bluetooth as the volume would need to be on max otherwise it is too quiet of an output as this changes with the volume control on Bluetooth. Compared to other models in the "classic" Revival range (excluding the Mini and Petite), the Uno BT is the smallest. There's not an enormous difference- we're only talking a couple of inches. Sound performance One of the nice things about this radio and others in the Revival range is that you change the station and adjust the volume using old-fashioned rotary controls rather than pushing buttons. Even if you’re listening to the radio using the latest DAB+ technology, you’ll feel like you’re using a classic radio from the 1950s.

In a lot of ways, the Roberts Revival Uno BT is very much the little brother of the Classic Revival. It’s smaller in size, which is a benefit if you’re looking for something portable with a compact design and smaller features. You can also access Bluetooth streaming with this radio. Therefore, you can stream music directly from your smartphone. For FM radio stations, ensure the telescopic aerial is fully extended. Long-press the mode button and release it when the FM mode is selected. However, for a small digital radio with limited features, the Revival Uno seems very expensive. You can buy a radio with the same features for a quarter of the price, but it wouldn’t have the beautiful retro design of the Revival Uno. On the plus side, Roberts consistently proves that a small radio doesn’t have to mean limited sound.

Everything you need to know about Beacon

Our one complaint about its predecessor, the Revival Uno, was that it didn't have Bluetooth connectivity. That problem has been resolved with the Uno BT- that's what the "BT" in the name stands for. Pairing up a device is nice and straightforward, and once you've done it once, the Uno BT will remember it from then on, and will usually connect automatically. In addition to its radio capabilities, the Roberts Revival Uno BT also functions as a Bluetooth speaker. It can be paired with a smartphone, tablet, or other Bluetooth-enabled devices to play music or other audio content. This provides users with the flexibility to enjoy their favorite music or podcasts without the need for additional speakers or systems.
