A gang of not very successful crooks escape London as the cops bear down on them, taking refuge on an island formerly owned by monks. Here they no only hide out but also run off some counterfeit bank notes, and launder stolen gold, jewels and furs for their friends, while maintaining the pretence of a monastic lifestyle, even with Babs Windsor aka Brother Bikini amongst their number.
