Giovanni Smooth as Silk Deeper Moisture Conditioner was created for infusing dry and damaged hair with much-needed moisture. This conditioner is amazing. I have really curly hair that needs lots of moisture and this does a great job on it One of my favorite conditioners for my wavy/curly hair! It’s affordable and easy to find, which can be hard to say for many curly products.

Works well enough for smooth waves but citrus makes tight cylindrical curls hard to comb. A little more sea kelp please, maybe some wheat germ. Compared to NYC curls or Aveda dry remedy moisture; this is a very close second but without that slip we’re all after. Takes a lot of product for afro dense hair! For the money, I would miss this product if it went away though. The conditioner is great… at first. Seems perfect and lightweight. However my clumps fall apart when styling immediately. When I use other conditioners my clumps stay together beautifully through all the scrunching. Also doesn’t work w/ brush styling. I’ve been using this regularly for the last year on my naturally wavy/curly hair. This is my go to. It’s a great detangler and my hair just soaks up the moisture. I’ve also used it as a co-wash and had great success.
