The Leather Colourants are designed for restoring the colour and changing the colour of all leather items. The reason we recommend this colourant range over any other is the high rub fastness and scuff resistance characteristics: you will struggle to scuff or scratch them!

A wide range of pre-mixed standard colours to choose from; best suited if you are changing the colour of leather. Yes, the Leather Colourant does not need to be thinned before use. If you feel the Colourant is struggling to get through your spray equipment, you can add up to 10% water. Send us a sample so we can match the colour perfectly to your item, so long as it is larger than a postage stamp. Preparation: For best results, ensure surface is clean and free fromwax or oil. If wax has been used clean the surface thoroughly withwhite spirit. We recommend that bare wood should be sanded beforepainting.Before applying our Leather Colourant, there may be necessary procedures and products to use to achieve a perfect and natural finish. Leather Finish should be applied afterwards for a strong and hard-wearing coating. Colour Options & Colour Matching We use 16 base mixing colours, these mixing colours are primary, secondary and shade colours which can be mixed together to achieve any colour to match the leather being worked on. If you are looking to solely restore the colour to aniline leather, we would recommend using our Leather Re-Colouring Balm, as this is designed for absorbent leathers. If you are looking to change the colour, then our Leather Colourant would be best.

Yes, however before applying the Colourant the leather will need to be degreased. For this we recommend using our Leather Degreaser.
