In 1976 the business was sold, but the family kept the land with the Hacienda and the distillery, and in 1999 Don Guillermo began the process of getting the old small distillery working again. My journey has seen me as an owner of sophisticated bars and renowned liquor shops, and even as a Mezcal distiller, honing the craft from scratch.
