About this deal

There’s much profit to be found in the esoteric salvage secreted aboard these rotting void-barges – and you can acquire it for the glory of your own Hold with five cybernetically-enhanced Cthonian Beserks, five diamond-hard Einhyr Hearthguard, and 10 geared-up Hearthkyn Warriors, all led by a proud Einhyr Champion. The Imperial Agents faction is all about the Imperial Navy and its colorful personnel. Boarding Patrol: Imperial Agents will contain the following: Hearthkyn Warriors – sturdy, specialized Kin soldiers clad in enclosed void armor. They have access to a wide variety of weapons and war gear, making them extremely versatile in combat.

When you select a PSYKER unit to manifest psychic powers, you select one psychic power that unit knows and attempt to manifest it. With the exception of Smite, you cannot attempt to manifest the same psychic power more than once in the same battle round, even with different PSYKER units. The same PSYKER unit cannot attempt to manifest Smite more than once during the same battle round. Some weapons have ‘Blast’ listed in their profile’s abilities. These are referred to as Blast weapons. In addition to the normal rules, the following rules apply to Blast weapons:Over at Warhammer Community, our coverage of the new edition of Warhammer 40,000 continues with the reveal of a brand new Tyranid unit and close examinations of how characters and weapons work in the new system. If you prefer your anti-tank options a little more discrete, the Sicaran Venator trades mass for speed and can wind its way around enemy flanks before lancing neutron beam laser blasts right through the sides of opposing tanks. An Eversor Assassin – a true embodiment of fury and death, this assassin does not use stealth and precision, but sheer psychotic fury and unbridled destruction. Only death can stop him from fulfilling his mission.

The Warhammer Community team has come up with a few of our own sample lists to see what’s possible. A proud Einhyr Champion – a seasoned commander of the Hearthguard tasked with leading from the front. Fitting its status, the champion is clad in the finest modified exo-armor fitted with mass drivers. Armed with formidable close-quarters weapons and bulky RAM shields, the Einhyr Champion is a living battering ram, who has no problem smashing through units and gates with ease. When mustering your Boarding Patrol, select one of the following: ACOLYTE units; NAVIS IMPERIALIS Troops units; ADEPTUS ARBITES Troops units. The selected units from your army gain the Objective Secured ability. Azrael isn’t the only Chapter Master given the Primaris treatment – Commander Dante has barely tied a bow on the apocalyptic invasion of Baal and he’s already off finding more enemies of the Imperium to destroy. Someone really needs to give the guy a holiday. Vashtorr the Arkifane

Final Warhammer 40k Boarding Patrols Have Great Value

Genestealers have a long and storied history infesting space hulks, and their legacy continues in Boarding Patrol: Tyranids. A powerful Broodlord leads a cadre of eight Genestealers – dominating close combat specialists in their own right – and six Tyranid Warriors with a variety of organic weapons for range and melee. You can see this Boarding Patrol in action in the latest Battle Report on Warhammer+.

We’ve already taken our first peek at the rules for this new expansion. Today, we’re joined by Rich Butler from the Warhammer Studio team to have a look at the armies you’ll be building. Rules AdaptationsIf your Faction is AGENTS OF THE IMPERIUM, then the following rules adaptations apply. This novel takes the Lion on a quest through the shadowed paths between stars to gather loyal knights to his side once more, though many have long since been hunted as members of the Fallen. Unsure of who to trust, and without the aid of his Legion, his father, and his home, the Lion will need to find his place in a galaxy even less forgiving than the one he left.

So many Boarding Patrols have launched over the last few months, it’s a wonder there’s any fighting left to do on actual planets at all. There’s more to come from the Arks of Omen yet, as the machinations of Vashtorr and Abaddon come to a brutal head in the forthcoming fifth book in the series – The Lion . It’s a big day for Warhammer 40,000 boxed sets, as two more factions join the Boarding Patrol collective and the new Desolation Squad and Brutalis Dreadnought of Strike Force Agastus arrive for frontline duty. They’re joined by an Eversor Assassin, presumably for the levity of his presence and not because a murderously volatile living bomb is exactly what you need in an operations zone separated from the freezing cold of space by less than a metre of bulkhead…To manifest the psychic power, you must first pass a Psychic test. The opposing player can then select one of their PSYKER units that is within 24" of the PSYKER unit attempting to manifest the power and attempt to deny that power before its effects are resolved by passing a Deny the Witch test. These changes also update the Agents of the Imperium ability to include the new Arks of Omen and Boarding Patrol Detachments , allowing any Imperial faction to include a single unit without losing Detachment abilities or using up a Battlefield Role slot. That’s especially useful for Boarding Actions games, where you can include an Inquisitor without occupying your single HQ slot.
