McVicar is returned to prison and his sentence is increased, but during this time he studies for a BSc in sociology and he is eventually released. In it, he paints Barry George as a sophisticated liar, trying to appear too stupid to carry out a difficult mission. The book appeared after George's first appeal was rejected.
