In the Youtube video below I’ve included video taken with the Sena Prism and the 10C Evo so you can make a direct comparison.

The installation of the speakers and wiring harness are straightforward. I used the boom mic for the HJC modular and the wired mic for the Klim full-face off-road helmet. I did have a little trouble with the harness connector that connects to the 10C Evo unit from the mic and speaker wires. I was overthinking it. Turning on video recording or taking photos takes a few seconds each. If you have a closure rate of 140 mph and want to take a photo or video of a passing group of riders, you better press the camera button as soon as they come into view to get the process started. The App for the Intercom connects over Bluetooth and has an array of features to get the sound just how you would like it. And if you are into your music, there is an optional upgrade to the speakers. One thing we did note on a group ride was how well the Bluetooth automatically reconnected if we became separated. Something that earlier Bluetooth intercoms struggled with. The Inevitable App Capture video in 4K at 30 frames per second or take photos in still shot, burst, or time-lapse mode. The camera button allows for simple one-touch recording while Voice Prompts keep you updated on the camera’s progress. With video tagging, you can save important events from a continuous loop of video recording, instantly creating highlights. As for storage, the 10C EVO accepts MicroSD cards up to 128 GB. Neither App requires much explanation. There are help buttons next to the options, and if two options are incompatible with each other, the App tells you so.

And then there is the combination of the two, the Sena 10C Evo. To install the excellent 4K camera the Sena Mesh technology has gone, but the reliable and clear Bluetooth intercom remains, as does the ability to group four Bluetooth intercoms together. I can’t think why you might want to exclude the speedo from your video in favour of more sky, but if you wish to, the option is there. You can share music and nag each other, just as easily as you can with the Sena Mesh system.
