Love, mess, secrets; this story of four generations of women is shot through with Ruth Jones's warmth and wisdom. A big warm blanket of a book. I loved it - Jojo Moyes

Love, mess, secrets; this story of four generations of women is filled with Ruth Jones’s warmth and wisdom.’ JOJO MOYES There is Becca, not academic and knows that her exam results are not going to please her mother. Nothing much will it seems, but finding her true self is much more important and in that she also finds her love for her music. And when she finds her - if she does - she risks betraying granddaughter Elin. Who is far less forgiving of the past, with its hurts and secrets and lies. Meanwhile Grace's great -grand-daughter Beca is oblivious to all these worries, too busy navigating the highs and lows of teenage life and keeping secrets of her own. Love, mess, secrets; this story of four generations of women is filled with Ruth Jones's warmth and wisdom.' JOJO MOYES In a series of 100 short and accessible essays, zoologist and science communicator Joanna Bagniewska introduces us to some of the strangest and most compelling creatures in the natural world. From jellyfish capable of reversing the ageing process to tarantulas that keep frogs as pets, by way of blood-spurting lizards and booby siblicide, it’s an illuminating compendium of some weird and wonderful creatures. Love Untold is about mothers and daughters and the complex bond between them. It's about the heartache that comes from leaving things unsaid and the power of true forgiveness. It is a joy-filled, life-affirming, sob-inducing novel - with characters you'll come to know and love from no.1 bestselling author Ruth Jones. Ruth Jones: Very proud! I’m looking forward to my mum reading it, as it’s dedicated to her. She received an advanced copy and must have read the dedication because she called me and said, “You give me so much joy too!”

Another classic from Ruth Jones. She has this ability to make you believe you are living the life of all the characters. The good and the bad. The flawed the messed up parts alongside the highs. Taking some time to get into ending up my favourite of the three I have read by the end. The sad beautiful tragic ending. All across the USA, people are showing up dead. The deaths don't appear to be connected in any way until one particular death occurs and gets the Secretary of Defense's attention. He arranges for a task force to investigate.Grace doesn’t want a traditional celebration for her birthday, but her granddaughter Elin has other ideas. She’s determined that Grace’s big day will be celebrated, her own daughter, Becca is slightly mortified by her mother’s quest to party, much preferring to spend quality time with her great grandmother. Welsh royalty and actress turned best-selling author Ruth Jones releases her third book Love Untold, a warm, joyous and heartbreaking generation-spanning novel. She natters with John Evans about the importance of family and forgiveness. For Alys, Grace’s daughter, Elin’s mother she has been constantly running from herself and has come close throughout her life to time running out. Estranged from all of her family, blaming Grace for what has happened to her, it seems ironic that she suddenly reappears in all their lives.

Rich in warm, engaging characters and a judicious mix of humour and pathos... it's a compassionate, wise and life-affirming book * The Observer * Grace is about to turn ninety. She doesn’t want parties or presents or fuss. She just wants to heal the family rift that’s been breaking her heart for decades.Grace is about to hit her 90th birthday and while some may want a big party and lots of presents to celebrate such a huge milestone, all she wants is to mend a rift within her family that has been going on for more than 30 years. Ruth Jones’ third novel is another warm, heartfelt story, filled with strong and joyful female characters that captures the challenges and joys of relationships and family. Gavin and Stacey” is Ruth Jones’ most popular work that introduces Stacey and Gavin. Stacey happens to be your everyday girl from South Wales while Gavin is your everyday boy from Essex. The end of this story is incredibly moving and brought me to tears (and I have never cried over a book before). Ruth Jones draws you in and tugs on the heartstrings in a beautiful way

Love, mess, secrets; this story of four generations of women is shot through with Ruth Jones's warmth and wisdom.' JOJO MOYES It was a venue that reminded her of musical performances during her childhood. It was this that paved the way for all manner of acting gigs and TV roles.

But to do that she must find her daughter Alys - the only person who can help to put things right. And when she finds her - if she does - she risks betraying granddaughter Elin. Who is far less forgiving of the past, with its hurts and secrets and lies. There’s a lot of warmth and comfort that comes with reading your work. Maybe I’m being biased because I’m Welsh… What a wonderful, heart-warming, beautifully emotional story by Ruth Jones of 4 generations, trying to navigate their own lives and their relationships with others and each other. Elin, Becca’s mother is a headteacher, organised and knows what is best for everyone; her husband, her daughter and even her grandmother. But does she know what is best for herself?
