I didn't tested that specific region of the screen before applying the protector (or at least, i don't remember), so i don't know if the problem comes from the protector, or from the actual screen. The regular screen is going to be better in ideal lighting conditions. Anti glare is going to be far superior outside, traveling, or in sunny rooms (since bad glare can literally make handhelds unplayable there is no comparison).
