About this deal

The pram offers everything great about a double, with the ability to fit through standard (and narrow) doorways. This pram has two independent canopies overhead, two independently reclining seats (suitable from birth) and two shopping baskets underneath, each holding 3kg. This is a convenient choice for the best stroller Australia and makes for a great infant stroller for travel. It’s also perfect if you are like us and don’t have much boot space. I would not recommend it (together with other strollers of the same type), if you need a stroller for demanding terrain (mountains, badly damaged sidewalks etc.). Additionally, the Atom is not the best choice for extremely tall kids and for really short parents, or for those who require a very upright sitting position for their kid. Apart from that, I am happy to recommend the Atom and give this stroller a solid 85 % from my point of view. The Baby Jogger City Mini GT has become one of the top-rated prams in Australia. Why? Because it’s a fabulous all-rounder and the best budget pram!

While it’s got some great pros, I do wish the fold was more compact and that the pram could be folded with one hand. But for the comfort of a newborn, and parent, the pram does brilliantly.

A travel stroller is a type of stroller that is designed to be used specifically for traveling. These strollers are incredibly lightweight, typically weighing between 5kg and 6.5kg, and have only the bare essentials in terms of features. However, some everyday strollers are also lightweight and suitable for use as a travel stroller. Choosing the right stroller for your needs will depend on your individual circumstances.

Your everyday pram will require much more consideration than a simple umbrella pram and other cheap prams that you will keep in the boot. If you’re looking for an inexpensive stroller that will serve you well for your family travels as well as everyday use, definitely do yourself a favour and consider the Safety 1st Willow stroller. Note: The top pram is going to the safest one, and this depends entirely on how you use it. To ensure you’re using your pram correctly, read the tips about pram safety here.Umbrella strollers are usually low priced too so great if you’re after a cheap travel pram. However this is mostly because they are not as durable as a travel pram, and so best used for the odd trip.

The handlebar is the ultimate in adjustability. The pram can be transformed from forward to rear facing, and there is an adjustable handlebar has a brake control. The seat reclines fully flat making it suitable for newborns and features a hand fold. The one-piece - single handlebar is positioned slightly higher (my measurement is 103 cm from the ground) - even taller parents can enjoy a comfortable drive. With my height of 176 cm, I certainly didn't struggle, and I believe every person of average height will be fine. For people measuring under 160 cm and over 190 cm, I would recommend trying the Atom out (and any other stroller for that matter) before purchasing it. The hood One of the standout features of the Betti Gran Stroller is its versatility. Suitable for babies from birth up to 4 years old, this pram features a fully extendable seat and footrest. The soft padded fabric and adjustable footrest ensure that your little one is comfortable and has ample space to recline and rest. Tandem prams have a big advantage over their side-by-side pram cousins and that’s that they can fit through doorways and other narrow spaces much better. They often fold up smaller too.

The Atom comes with a for-its-type 'traditional' shopping basket - relatively easily accessible, but with the dimensions of 43 x 29 x 19 cm, rather small. The front and rear parts of the basket are shallow; only the center is deeper. Thanks to the open access, the shopping basket can handle a small to medium shopping load, but be careful not to lose anything - the smaller items are safer on the bottom. I would not recommend overloading the basket either. The rear part is attached by velcro, and under a heavy load (for example, several full bottles), it will get undone and drag on the floor. The shopping basket is in my opinion suitable for storing essentials such as a rain cover (it won't take its whole space), a blanket, a bottle, spare clothes, baby wipes, and some spare nappies. It is probably advisable to carry any real shopping only occasionally. One of the features worth ensuring your stroller has is a sunshade which has good coverage. A travel umbrella stroller for instance just doesn’t seem to provide the appropriate level of coverage. A compact folding travel stroller with good shade coverage is particularly important if you’re travelling to hot and sunny destinations. This best pushchair for air travel also features a breathable mesh fabric that reduces the risk of chafing and sweat buildup on warm days. There’s also a good size sun canopy to help protect your little one against burns, a 5 point padded harness and small storage basket. Try and consider the following things when looking for an ideal pram. 1. What is the purpose of the pram?
