A small number of hymns had to be changed at the request of the ecclesiastical censor, and a few less-used items were replaced. After the publication of the Supplement there was a gap of several months while approval was given, and the opportunity was taken to add two Mass settings which were proving popular, the Belmont Mass (Walker) and the Mass of Christ the Saviour (Schutte.) In addition a Welsh language setting by Alan Rees, with adaptations, was included. With the Nihil Obstat and Imprimatur, this was the first officially authorised hymnbook since the introduction of the new translation. It contains the masses that have been revised in accordance with the 2010 English translation of the Roman missal, and about 25 replacement hymns. It also contains additional Mass settings – the Belmont Mass (Walker), Mass of Christ our Saviour (Schutte) and (for the first time in a mainstream hymnal) a complete Welsh mass by Alan Rees with new acclamations.
