About this deal

Popular with locals and tourists alike, and having been taken over by new owners in the summer of 2015, the refurbished pub with its fabulous courtyard and stunning walled garden provides the ideal setting in which to relax and unwind. If you’re looking for somewhere to rest your head, or a base whilst you explore the many local attractions the area has to offer, then our 5 recently refurbished, comfortable en-suite rooms providing a high standard of accommodation are ideal. Nestled in the heart of Moreton-in-Marsh, Inn on the Marsh is a traditional British pub that serves up delicious pub grub at reasonable prices. The establishment has a cozy and welcoming ambiance, perfect for a casual meal with friends or family. The interior design is quirky and charming, with vinyl records adorning the walls and a toasty warm fire to keep patrons comfortable during the colder months. Considered by many to be JRR Tolkien’s inspiration for the ‘Prancing Pony’, Middle Earth’s most famous pub in ‘The Lord of the Rings’, The Bell Inn is a fine example of a traditional coaching inn providing quality food, drink and accommodation in welcoming surroundings.

An accomplished chef, Carson finds his inspiration in the lodge atmosphere, where guests share the same menu and table. Regularly, visiting chefs from all over the world bring a cosmopolite note during hosted special events, where local flavours are infused with cultural and culinary differences.

Situated in the picturesque Cotswolds market town of Moreton-in-Marsh, The Bell Inn has for years been a favourite for those seeking a truly unspoilt rural break combining a menu bursting with fresh, seasonal, locally sourced dishes. Inn on the Marsh is located on a quieter street on the edge of town, making it a great spot to escape the hustle and bustle of the main tourist areas. The establishment also offers outdoor seating in their beer garden, perfect for enjoying a pint on a sunny day.

Born and raised in the Yukon, Carson Schiffkorn was familiar with Marsh Lake since early childhood. Intrigued by the mystery of the empty log structure standing on the edge of the lake, Carson stepped in one day and knew immediately that he had found his place. It was 1996 and after one year of hard work to transform the vision into reality, the lonesome building became an inn with a "Rustic-Chic" feel of its own.
