This British-made plant-based toilet cleaner comes from Suma, an ethical worker cooperative based in Yorkshire. Their Ecoleaf brand encompasses a range of gentle, yet effective cleaning products and this is no exception.
Bio D is a popular, highly effective eco-friendly toilet cleaner that doesn’t contain chemicals, enzyme or animal products. Its gentle formulation contains no bleach and is biodegradable, keeping it safe for waterways and animals and suitable for use even with septic tanks and cesspits. Thankfully, gone are the days when toilet cleaners reeked strongly of fake pine forests! There are many lovely scented products now available, and many of the leading products come in a range of scents to suit your tastes and/or match your bathroom décor! What if there was a product out there that would clean your loo for you every time you flush, saving you lots of scrubbing and reducing your workload? Happily, there is such a wonderous product! Not only does this brush leave your toilet sparkling clean, but it also has angled bristles that are specifically designed to clean under the rim, making the job easier. During testing, it took a few tries to get the hang of using the angled bristles correctly, but the bristles on the head were strong enough to scrub away tough build-up. I really never thought the day would come, but I’ll never have to scrub or clean a toilet ever again! And enough time has gone by now, that I don’t think twice about it! Each pouch is filled with toilet cleaner that foams up and dissolves to give the bowl a thorough clean. All you have to do is drop it in, wait for it to foam up and scrub and flush. Without having taken that trip, I would have never discovered Splash Toilet Cleaner and I would still be scrubbing my toilets on my hands and knees! Does not do what the company advertises. No foam, no cleaning action whatsoever. Did not touch ANY stain in my toilet.
