About this deal

Unfortunately the factor 50 tinted face sun cream peels off regardless of how I wash or moisturise my face. I bought some tubes for my Mum as well and she has experienced the same. I'm disappointed as I like the company and delivery and service were good, and somewhat surprised as this brand was recommended by a melanoma charity. Will likely try another brand next time I'm in need of sun cream.

Sunsense Sunsensitive SPF50+ Sun Screen, 100ml

Your SunSense products were recommended to me by Amyjayne Aesthetics last year. I was given some free samples to try, I was extremely pleased with the lightness of them, they're not heavy at all on the skin, they soak in beautifully I especially love the tinted cream. I would definitely recommend anyone to try these, I'm sure you'll love them as much as I do. I've been using Sun Sense SPF 50, 500ml dispenser for several years. I have used it every day on the recommendation of my dermatologist to cover all exposed parts of my body due to having developed very sensitive skin and a melanoma in 2018.

A Day in The Life of a Qualified Occupational Therapist living with Lupus and Type 1 Diabetes by Melissa October 18, 2023 Tried Sunsense sensitive spf50 due to major flare up of allergy excema. I am sure it does the job but unless you want to look like you have been dipped in brilliant white emulsion I suggest you give this product a miss. It was impossible to rub in enough to not leave a white coat on your skin. If you are using a moisturiser that is greasy or oily, be careful not to overdo the application of the moisturiser as this can cause a ‘frying’ effect in the sun.

Creams for “sensitive” skin are probably less irritating, but these tend to be ones that leave a white sheen on the skin (titanium dioxide), which some people don’t like. If swimming indoors, apply your usual emollient cream or, better still, an emollient ointment, before entering the pool. It is a good idea to put on more cream than you usually would, so that it acts as a good barrier to the water. Uvistat provides balanced UVA/UVB sun protection. Uvistat comes in a range of sun protection factors to cater for all skin types. Uvistat is fragrance-free and specially formulated not to irritate the skin, so suitable for most skin types . SunSense Sensitive is a sunscreen for very sensitive skin because it contains no chemical absorbers, thereby minimising the potential of irritation, and provides SPF 50+ broad spectrum protection from the sun with 4 hours water resistance.

More From Feelunique

Best sun cream ever. My daughter used to get a skin reaction with over the counter creams so a dermatologist suggested Sunsense. Since then everyone in our family uses it. providers. Thanks to our friends ‘down under’ SunSense provides some of the highest quality protection around. Most people don’t put enough cream on to achieve the protection stated on the bottle! Be generous, apply every couple of hours, or more frequently if swimming or sweating a lot.
