About this deal

Green Team Wins blurs the line between game and activity. Yes, there’s a score, but as with a certain subset of party games, who cares about that? This one feels like an extended ice breaker. Some questions will lead to interesting discussions or light-hearted arguments. I’m always down for that in a party game environment. While not as strong as Wavelength, it is a conversation starter. Some of the questions are ridiculous (in a good way) such as which cereal mascot is putting in the most work? If there aren’t any obvious areas of focus, conducting a sustainability auditis a good starting point. Both provide excellent frameworks that will help you to evaluate your company against established best practices. but that doesn’t mean the game isn’t fun…in fact Green Team Wins has been a blast, each and every time I’ve played it. Trying to figure out how to start a green team at work can seem to be a daunting task, but it can be fun once you actually get started. Fill in the Blank presents you with a word, with an empty space before or after it: “Fire ____” or “_____ Night”.

In Green Team Wins, players are trying to score the most points by answering questions and matching with the most popular answer. The gameplay takes place over 15 rounds. Everyone starts on the orange team. Each round a new question is drawn. Questions come in three types: Fill in the Blank, Best of Three, and This or That. The only criticism I might have would be that the “Best of Three” and “This or That” have fixed sets of answers which means it’s very easy to pull a majority. You might not be on it, but you’ll definitely have a group that will win. “Fill in the Blank” on the other hand can easily wind up with no majority or a very thin majority. While it can be pretty funny, seeing what everyone writes down for “______ Party”, it usually winds up with many people exiting the green team for the orange team. But now that I think about it, I wonder if this was intentional—as a way of avoiding a runaway leader. It’s a small criticism, but I said it.Lastly, make sure that you have representation from throughout the company. Sustainability cannot be run from just one department, so make sure that facilities, HR, finance, purchasing, marketing, and production are allrepresented. Depending upon the size of your business, it might be helpful to ask for one or two volunteers from each department. Green Team Ideas For Work The name intrigued me – how could you have a team based game and already know which team will win? Surprises

Allowing people to self-select is a great way of empowering your employees! Many people will welcome the opportunityto do something that they are interested in and that aligns with their values. Another strength of the game is its ability to handle large player counts well. Green Team Wins plays up to 12. The more the merrier. You can bring this one anywhere and play with anyone since there are only a few rules, and they are quite simple. Those who couldn’t grasp it from the teach, understood exactly what was going on after a round or two. The answer is cantaloupe.

Anne McCall, Director of RSPB Scotland said: “A huge congratulations to all the winners of this year’s Nature of Scotland Awards. I can’t wait to play this one at after Thanksgiving dinner with the whole extended family at the house. Thrive uses positive activities in nature to help young people improve their mental wellbeing. It is best summarised by a recent participant: Even though we figured this would be a fun party game, I was surprised just how fun this one was to play with our family.

You can also use your first meetingto brainstorm possible areas of focus for the green team. Some might be self-evident, such as if customers are already asking for green features in your products or services or if you already know thatyour facility is in need of a lighting upgrade. There are three types of questions: Fill in the Blank, This or That, and Multiple Choice. To set up the game, randomly choose 5 cards from each type and shuffle them. This was a game that we heard a fair amount of buzz about online, so we expected it to be a really fun party game. The Green Team’s Thrive Programme won the Health and Wellbeing Award at RSPB Scotland’s Nature of Scotland Awards 2022 announced at a glittering event on 17th November at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre. Another reason for having a green team is that you’ll get a greater diversity of ideas and support for your sustainability initiatives. Rank and file employees have insights into what is happening on the front lines of customer service, production, and other key areas and can identify opportunitiesthat might otherwise go unnoticed.Starting a green team will take some work initially, but it will be worth the effort!
